Juat on way home, it was messy but I will take messy everyday of the week! The booing and paper throwing was silly but it was in retaliation to constant time wasting just hope UEFA don't punish us to badly as we all know they would love too!

Bring on the rags!

Watched in the pub next to work outside oxford on a small telly on my own with a dozen rags across the room, god when we scored I didn't realise at first due to the offside goal and other near misses but when it sunk in it was all I could do to not to run round with my cock out.

I thought apart from the first fifteen mins where we were slow off the mark we played well and on another day we'd have gone in up at the break comfortably. Stellar work rate though, can't wait to go to villareal in november even though they'll be out for revenge, the dream is alive.

Look out scum, we'll fuck you up on Sunday

It will be the last time City put out those paper banners for each supporter..it looked great on the telly.....fucking idiots they were for throwing them.

They were throwing them at showsec because the club has done nothing about the old bloke from last saturday apart from close ranks. Did none of you hera the "fuck off showsec" or cheering everytime one of them was hit?

"squad" as in 18 players named for the game this weekend. A traffic cone would have done as good as he did tonight. Don't understand how in about 3 weeks he can go from being so good to being useless almost every time he touches it

However if kun missed the last chance, Dzeko was right behind him - and we'd probably all be saying how a great striker can suck for 89 minutes only to win the game with the right chance.

Crazy to give Dzeko so much grief. His work rate is second to none.

He was in the right position for both of our goals today, would have put both away on another day.

3 goals worse off than Napoli..so we have top beat Bayern at home and Villareal away...cant see us getting much other than maybe a draw at Napoli.

Tbf it's almost impossible to play worse than Dzeko did tonight. He was shite in almost every way it's possible to be shite. His 1st offside header was a taste of things to come; he missed it by ten yards. It was lucky for him that he was offside. His hold up play & strength on the ball would make Gareth Taylor look like Joe Jordan.

He was absolute utter fucking dogshite. Anyone who knows anything about being a striker will say the same. He needs to man up if he's going to be our centre forward. a few weeks of brilliance followed by a few weeks of utter shite is not what we require. We need consistency.

I have been a big admirer of Dzeko'sfor a few seasons now but I have to say you're right about his 'efforts' last night. Total rubbish, even throwing in the excuse that he needed a strike partner doesn't change that assessment.

He needs to learn that he has a physique and start using it.

My biggest problem with all of it was, with his back to goal, Dzeko letting defenders slip around him and get to the ball first. Multiple times. Shouldn't happen for a striker at his level. Lack of focus on the game and even more a lack of effort
