i am glad i am not the manager to choose a team for the game.aj should start coz of the matter against villareal.dzeko and aguero should start.
so is nasri(top assist in the league)silva is a must.without dejong and barry it will be like a suicide there.yaya has got a good record against them.
oh god what about balo,he is in such good form....
we have to pick only 6 among them.
oh i almost forgot milner probably the most in form player...

they'll have to score at least three to beat us, and that's not going to happen

I'd go with Dzeko on Sunday , if only cos he can wind up Vidic in his own language. Let Balo come on after a while to get the handbags with Ferdinand going again !

Seriously, I opened a topic after the Semi Final last season about the 'Change of the Guard' and I really believe if we come aways from Old Trafford with a point or even three, we will have cemented our position at the top for a while because United really are about to implode, imo.

This will be the first time I've seen City at Old Trafford since Denis Law's backheel. Prior to that I went every time we played there since being a little kid. So it's going to be great fun again.

Just heard Bryan Robson saying that he thinks it will be a cagey game but personally I can see it being anything but. The Rags have shown this season that they have only got one way to play and that is to attack. Whether this is because Taggart believes they aren't good enough defensively is up for debate but one thing is certain, we will get chances and if we take them, unlike Chelsea/Norwich et al, I can see it being a real open game.

This is a chance for the manager and the players to show what they've got against a team that the media have been fawning over all season and I'd like to see Mancini making a point of sticking it to them, even if we don't get the 3 points at least we'll put on a show for eveyone to witness.

PS. The butterflies are starting to flutter, can't feckin wait.

It is an obvious one to call for the pundits saying it will be cagey. It could be yes.. but I'm also thinking that is the view from the pro rag side as they are actually worried how they will cope with City. The last few games we have started to show we can dominate the play and for a team that as you say knows best how to attack then i think it gives them concerns.
How the actual game pans out though I really think will depend on how City get going, as long as we get into our stride I think while remaining the usual dangerous side they will be asked serious questions by City in the midfield and they will struggle.
The concern for us is how long we are going to continue playing sloppily and easing up and giving away chances to break against us.

Anyways bottom line is the pressure is definitely on them.. and they have more to lose so with that in mind I hope that Bob realises we can actually go out there and have fun.

I'm convinced we will come away with a draw. Away match at the swamp? We don't need anything else.

Hart
Richards Kompany Lescott Cliche
DeJong
Milner YaYa Barry
Silva
Aguero

I wanted to play Mario, but the pace of the rags on the wings we need to have covering help for the fullback and disciplined cover for when they go forward. Milner has been awesome in the past few games and YaYa can push forward, both offer good defence and creative attack and Gareth Barry has proved invaluable this season.

My concerns are our slow starts or running out of steam before the 90 minutes are up........ I just hope we do them and walk away with 3 points

Hargreaves on the bench...anyone?

I think we're all arriving at the same team, but with the Milner or Balo question!

However knowing Bobby he'll probably pull a flanker!

Been sat around all morning watching SSN and how blatantly Rag bias are these fuckers. They're throwing up stats for and against and as you'd guess, near enough all are for United. They keep trolling Bryan Robson out with no City pundit even though he was on BBC with Peter Ried in the exact same spot. Then, to top it all they show both weekend briefs by the bosses and while the interviewer's at Taggarts is respectful it is not quite the same with ours.

It starts with the anchorman stating that the reporters are not allowed to talk about Tevez but then states how the pillock reporter (James Cooper) gave it a try. It then goes into the interview and the first words out of his mouth were on the lines of the Tevez situation to which you could physically see Mancini getting angry. Luckily he kept it and talked in a more authoritive manner which made Cooper giggle like a little girl and move on, but still throwing the the Carlos Tevez line, ie. '..the room is packed here because of Carlos Tevez but we've also got the weekend Derby to talk about..'! What a fucking spanker this turd is, he fits in well with the rest of the Rag Top Sky mob.

Oh, and here we go, there's the Shrek overhead shinner again. How fucking obvious can you get; not got room for Mario's?

Watxhe this weeks shameless this morning. They had a scene with the prostitute wearing a red football shirt with 7 on the back about to bum a guy with a strap on wearing a blue shirt with 8 on the back. Both shirts being the retro ones of the scum an city with the badges covered up.

Maybe i'm over reaching putting this down to some rags idea of a symbolic dig but i FUCKING HATE MUNICHS so i'm blaming them.

Aguerro to score first and City to win 2-0, 80-1, surely worth a punt?
I'd also be tempted by Rooney to score first and United to win 2-1 at 33-1 if I wasn't a blue.

If we do turn them over they'll pull-up some ballbag stat to say Untied should have won it - more throw-ins, more fans at the game, nicer colour of hair-piece and all that.
