Not double checked the stat, but sure I read on a match day thread that we have scored more goals in eight matches in the history of the premiership (might be on a par with Arsenal??). :-)

It's good to be a BLUE!

Yes that is correct, Arsenal also scored 27 goals in their first 8 games in 09/10.

I like winning.
And if you factor in our last six or seven from last season we are truly in title winning form.

There is nothing wrong in a good start and a good run.. unless it goes to the head.

Still totally convinced that this squad is still far off their best.. the attack is still new to each other and i think only their quality is showing in results not their character as a unit. It will come during this season.. but might take the whole season tbh.

I'm not bothered about being top, cos I'm wary that the team needs to have something to push it on and on and chasing another team is a very tangible goal to have there constantly reminding everyone.

All being well though we will start to step it up in the second half of the season, even though games might get tougher so to speak.
This squad could end up trashing nearly every record in the book by June.

They scored 29 in 8 and 33 in 10 that season so if we score 2 vs rags we should have best record after 8:-)

If we are stll top of the PL in Jan you can be sure the rags will get another midfielder, the quality of Sneijder. Also Chelsea will strengthen too. However I assume we will sell/exchange Tevez for a quality player. I assume Mancini would love Lavezzi or similar.

Just think how good the start would have been if we hadn't let it slip against Fulham.

Still, we're well on the way to the 40 point mark.

I remember when we were linked to Lavezzi in the summer and so many on here said he was shit....that opinion has been reassessed I see after he gave us no end of trouble.

Can someone resize that for me (max 200 pixels high). It will be my new signature.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I can't mate but it is a great gif. Got it E-Mailed to me the other day and got to admit that I've watched it over and over again, it's just got so much to it.
