The way the goals are dividing up between type of player is quite good. Everyone is chipping in:

(All competitions - taken from BBC Sport page http://bbc.in/nhCQlh and amended to include goals vs Wolves.)

Defence: 4 Goals
Kolarov 1
Kompany 1
Lescott 1
Savic 1

Midfield: 12 Goals
Barry 1
Hargreaves 1
Johnson 3
Milner 2
Nasri 2
Silva 3

Striker: 27 Goals
Agüero 10
Balotelli 6
Džeko 11

I'm liking how this is shaping up with goals coming from all positions. Now, if only Joe could dink in a penalty or two this year?!

Seriously, it appears that records could be broken (although Chelsea were in this very position last season). We have 12 of the 21 who have already scored, just wonder what the chances of every outfield player in the 21 bagging at some stage during the season.

Even Nige & Zabba must have a chance of getting in on the act if they get a run in the side, and I fully expect Micah and Clichy to bag before too long the way they are playing, and both Toures are always worth a few goals each.

I was wondering this today, whether we'd score 100 and still go down. Surely this has never happened before!

Kind of reminds me when we had all sorts of fucking clowns wearing the shirt and people would call someone like Stephen Jordan "great" leftback.

Tbf, if he'd tried to save it with his knob & got it wrong, Mancini would have been furious.

Yeah but you would've got great "EPIC penalty save FAIL" video out of that.
