Even a bit below par thanks in large part to a chronic ref, we've chalked up another win and improved our goal difference and average, scoring a "mere" three goals in the process. Tougher tests coming thick and fast, but we look in good nick for them. Don't expect any glowing reviews this weekend in the media, though - not that we got that many even after the 6-1. But doesn't it feel a little flat out there tonight? Are people just expecting us to win, and win easily?

I'm just pissed that I wasn't there, at the referee Atwell for trying to rig the game and having to listen to the cunt of all cunts that is Trevor Francis.

The game though, absolutely exstatic and the way we went on after the sending off really shows how good we are.

I don't remember him complaining when we spent well over the odds for him, the lightweight twat.

We got him on a free. We still paid over the odds but just thought I'd point it out.

Surely a red in Premier League applies to FA Cup too or vise versa?
Didn't Adebayor get sent off in one the away FA Cup match against Stoke and then he missed three league games?

A clear red for a professional foul.

Harts fault for once again batting the ball straight back out into the six yard box from a shot. Going to cost us Vinny for three games.

To be honest Hart has been below average the last few games. That was not Vinnies fault really...down to Hart.

Yeah was poor from Joe, he shouldn't have been allowed to get the shot off either though, was allowed space again when he could have been closed down or challenged. Poor from the DMs in the zone, Yaya i think.. not sure though.

Imo, that was the best home performance so far this season. Some of the tempo to our football was awesome when we stepped it up. We had plenty of variety, mixed up different styles & were at times lightning on the break. Wolves teally defended well & when we did get through, the keeper made good saves.

We've struggled to get our game together v well organised defences, but imo we came up against exactly that today & always looked like we'd nick a goal. Lescott & Vinny were superb & Gareth Barry could have played in Barca's team today; he was fucking awesome.
People are calling it a bad day at the office. I call it a title winning type performance.

Only criticisms are Joe with yet another assist & Vinny getting himself sent off. We have the firepower to score goals, there's no need to be red carded.

Finally, credit to Savic; slagged him the other night, only fair I say he did his job well when he came on.

Ref must be gutted at the result but he did his best to change the direction of play whenever possible.

We didn't play great today but we got the three points which is all that matters. We really missed Milner today.

I think Milner will start at Villareal; he's more resilient than Nasri, but we need to give Nasri plenty of opportunities to develop

We missed his intelligent off the ball running today. Deserves to be in the team ahead of Nasri imo.

Nope. It may be taking the piss out of the rags but it's still adapted from their song and it's fucking arrogant.

Hope it doesn't catch on but unfortunately it might be too late for that.

Rank it up there with 'we'll buy your club and burn it down' in the pantheon of wank chants.

I don't remember him complaining when we spent well over the odds for him, the lightweight twat.

Meanwhile, Alan Green was glowing in his praise of the Rags, who of course only pay peanuts for players and field academy graduates.

Still, they can whinge and moan and trot out their cliches all day and night when City win the Premier League. If it means so much to them to be so bitter and angry and grudging, then they are to be pitied.

I heard Green say this morning that he had tipped us to win the title this year; has anybody here heard him say that prior to 3pm last Sunday?

Yes remember reading this a while back and almost falling off me chair
