Capello was at the QPR game wasn't he? Trust Micah to have an off day. If that dozy old fart had chosen any of his other games this season to watch...

That would say a lot about his scouting, to just take 1 game into account.

Yeah, such bad scouting might just lead to Micah being left out.... oh hang on....

Richards has issues with positioning, maybe capello wants someone who will play in (or around) the position they are assigned to.

In the lead up to the world cup he experimented with a formation very similar to Bob's - Johnson and Milner were two of the reasons (at that time) he gave it up though. If he wants an athletic attacking fullback (and his love affair with that out-of-position RAG suggests he does) he needs to take Micah, even if he just sits on the bench behind that prick Jones.

Potentially if postman pat has problems with Micah's game they would probably have been confirmed in the QPR game.
Having said that it would surely seem that pat has a fundamental problem with Richards that we might not appreciate. All pumdits I hear talk about Micah as a must but...........

Exactly this. Micah had a mare.
Not the game for Capello to see really.

If he did, he wouldn't have picked Glen Johnson.

Henry Winter's tweeted that he spoke to Micah yesterday and he had strong views about City and England. Article to follow.

Hopefully, as one of the few truly decent journalists out there, he'll bang the drum for Richards and highlight what an imcompetent twat Capello is.

He's done well with a lot of license to attack and he's played well for us.

Capello isn't convinced yet. I feel for Micah, but I think it'll just take a bit more time doing what he's doing.

Was he in the stands of the other bollock dropping though?

This is a good point and I firmly believe that if Capello had another choice than those he's taken from City, he would take it without hesitation. Take Joe Hart for example, best keeper by far going into the World Cup but did he get a shout?

A while ago I thought that Capello and Mancini were quite close until I read an article where it said that they were far from it, to a point that they wouldn't even talk to each other if they met (more Capello than Mancini if I remember right). That maybe one reason but I'm sure there are many.

So Capello's in the crowd, Roberto gives him the armband and says "go and express yourself", his boyhood hero Sweep is on the other team, and his Captain rock is in the stands, so it all gets to him and he's under par. Question is why the hell hasn't Capello studied all his other outings. Wanker.

Not surprised Capello has picked Duncan Edwards in his squad as he is the curent Utd press darling, but Johnson and Walker, Hmmm.

Micah sadly needs to reconcile himself that he wont play until Capello is gone as he has Johnson, Walker, Smalling and Duncan Edwards all ahead of him.

On the plus side he will be fresh as a daisy for the Newcastle game. I also hope Lescott, AJ, Barry, Milner and Joe Hart play little or no part either. We have a huge set of games coming up which are 250% more important than any England game, and I'd want our players fit and ready for those than battling to get onto the shipwreck that is this England team.
