I've just thought: we're playing Spain right ?

Perhaps Capello just wants to let them take the piss out of Duncan & Johnson etc & save Micah from humilliation ?

Guardian Poll:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/poll ... land-squad

Should Micah Richards be in the England squad?
Fabio Capello has consistently overlooked the Manchester City right‑back and has picked Glen Johnson and Kyle Walker ahead of him for the friendly matches against Spain and Sweden. Does he deserve a chance?

92% Yes
8% No

So it's not just us then.

As has been stated above, we will get tonked and Ill be supporting Spain (Because Silva is in it )...the sooner Capello is fucked off the sooner I can get back to supporting England.

This. I feel such a cunt for not giving two shits about my national team. Can't even remember the last time I watched them. For me, international weekends are just a dangerous distraction/interruption to the beautiful game we all get so passionate about. I remember crying my eyes out as a kid during euro 96 absolutely devastated. I couldnt see that happening now. (not like we'd get that far nowadays anyway). Playing shite football with a media influenced manager with about as much charisma as a dry wheetabix is not what the England side should be about.

The first time in my life I have switched over from watching England to watching Spain the last time out, and that says it all...such is my disappointment in the FA.

They have really fucked us over picking this clown to manage us.

Kyle Walker seems to be the flavour of the month at the moment and he does play for everyone's favourite Manager, but just how good is he ??

I haven't seen much of him but, apart from a bit of overlapping, what are the qualities that he possesses and are these so vastly superior to those of Micah's ??

Can anyone advise objectively, or is he potentially the least worst of the rest, after Micah has been removed from the equation ??

What a mercenary! No wonder we have no team spirit.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

I just heard on the Radio that the English Defence league made a protest on the roof of the FIFA building here in Zürich this afternoon.

Turns out they are protesting about the Poppies on shirts.

I thought it was a strange place to plead Micah's case !

Great. Fully fit for our season!

Half the players called up don't even take playing for England seriously anymore. Too frightened of looking bad instead of giving their all for the shirt. You never see England players in the six nations just there to make up the numbers, they get five minutes they fight for every second!
