Though the midfield is really light and there wouldn't be enough midfield cover on the bench I think that sort of team could at least compete with most sides in the league. Wage bill would probably be astronomical, to use a popular phrase.

I honestly think if a good manager took the top 25% of that list he would end up in the top half of the premiership and maybe even push for european football.

Surprised only Taylor and Hargreaves on our list. Players not in the first team picture like Bridge and Onouha must have a further year. Distin would be a great back up centre back. A vastly underrated player for years in my view. Experienced and good in the air and being older would accept a fringe role surely.
