What a pathetic pile of fucking disgraceful shite. Why the fuck are we paying some Italian cunt fucking millions of pounds to create Everton ? Three fucking years in the job & THAT is what he comes up with; play like a fucking 3rd division team in the FA Cup at Anfield or OT in a fucking FRIENDLY match because we're scared the oppo may get out of 2nd gear & take the piss out of us ?
Moyes or Warnock could have organised that in their fucking sleep, as could Billy Davies or fucking Dave Bassett or Fat sam or any other useless negative cunt. Fill the team with shit, talentless midfielders, defenders & grafters, all stand behind the fucking ball & when it comes to you; kick it, but try to aim it away fron any Spaniards in case they get through us before we have chance to line up again. With a bit of luck we may nick a goal from a set piece.
I've got a better idea; shut down the international team.
I said exactly the same last night as I was watching this game. Only 1 team came to play football and it was like watching City v Everton except we had Balotelli and they only had Silva for 45 minutes whereas we had him for the whole game. If anyone feels that we would would more than 2 out of 10 games against Spain they are mistaken
The problem with the British game is we are importing match winners without developing any of our own. City are starting but even they are importing top youth from around the world. The problem is systemic in our society where talentless idiots "jedward" anyone can get rich and so kids look for the easy option as do coaches with young kids who would rather win matches rather than playing good football the cry "give it to Gordon" to the 5'6" 12 year old who is bigger stronger and faster than his mates at that age
Agree with everything you say but I'm hopeful that City's academy will become a leader in this & start to successfully coach players in the pass & move style football that the 1st team is developing. Vieira's comments in the press about emulating Barca seem to promise this. We will also be able to coach players at a younger age & for more hours.
Barca's demolition of Utd was a great thing for football here imo, as it was the day the penny finally dropped & set in motion a desire amongst football people & fans alike, to emulate that kind of football. Many teams in the Prem have been trying to play (to the best of their ability) pass & move football.
Then along comes Capello, with his Fat sam tactics & the twat gets a 1-0 which people in the media are hailing as some kind of achievement. It is the kind of thing which could start undo all the good work which is currently being done in the game here just as we are turning the corner; if we can beat Spain by playing like that, why not do more of it but get a big target man up front ?
It's horrible to see it happening; & with wankers like Pearce sitting there looking pleased with their days work. Shocking.
