2-0 up with 20 minutes to go. Still had Giggs, Nani, Rooney and Hernandez on the pitch. Then takes Nani off and puts Valencia on, thus pushing Chelsea even further back.

In the same situation who would we have put on? Vieira for Tevez? Boateng for AJ? In the last minute, one of theirs (all look the same to me) robbed a Chelsea player of the ball, fat frank, I think. He didn't know what had hit him. You'd have swore it was the rags who needed 2 goals, rather than Chelsea.

At the stats at the end on the foreign channel I was watching, the rags had collectively ran 2km more than Chelsea. Yes, they had an extra man for 30 minutes, but Chelsea couldn't get the ball off them, so who should have been doing the running?

That's why they're 'lucky'. That's why they always get late goals. That's why they win things. That's why there's not more than a handful of our team who would get in their side, despite the amount we've spent and, on paper, our players looking better.

Just come across this searching for today's bollox. Interesting reading my rant from April as we're now doing what I praised the rags for back then. AJ may not have helped much last week, but we put on an attacking sub to help us defensively. It's not been the only time this season either.

Not going up claim credit for it, well not till Bob admits he read it and realised what he was doing wrong, but perhaps fortune does favour the brave.

PS what happened to today's bollox anyway? Couldn't find them anywhere.

is it already set when City will play next calendar yr in the CL (if we move out of the group stage)?
I mean, will City always play on Tuesday or Wednesday or what?

Im trying to plan future job hours around the CL next season..kinda foolish I guess since its not even
certain if we'll make it out of our group.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Don't think so. Plus it would probs depend on whether we win the group or finish second assuming we qualify (if it was decided).

I'd wait until the knockout stages are drawn, you can probably arrange everything from there.

Or, y'know, just quit. No one has an actual job nowadays anyway.

Yea I know itll depend on what place we end up...hmmm.

Seeing as the Round of 16 begins in the middle of February '12 any idea when the draw would occur?

Couldn't agree more, bringing defensive players on for attacking ones simply invites more pressure from the opposition. I really like how when we go ahead, Bob often then takes off a player for a more attack minded one to keep the opposition on their toes.
