It's not just City though. If FIFA etc were to back him, any player could take a similar stance to reduce their transfer fee, hence increasing their wages and signing on fee. This issue is bigger than City and it would be nice to see someone like FIFA getting involved to either say we're in the wrong or he is. That would be expecting them to provide some sort of governance without any cash incentive, so it's obviously not going to happen

You know what? He could of just apologized after the Bayern game and possibly still had a future but now he's just behaving like a poilt 9 year old kid.

He's just fuking lucky he's such an incredible player otherwise no club would ever go near him.

FIFA need to get together and stop these agents doing this to clubs by not letting things like this go on. I'm all for the rights of the players but you can't use these rights ad leverage to get your own way. This is becoming laughable that FIFA have not jumped in and said nothing. CMON FIFA GET ON IT.

He's not though, at the moment he is a fat little turd that breaks into meat sweats when he so much as waddles down the stairs - and he has his own actions to thank for it. I would LOVE him to try and claim sporting just cause, I really would.

I still hold out an admittedly receding hope that he gets a 15 minute substitute appearance at CoMS :-)

I mean at his best. A fully fit Carlos Tevez when he's interested is in the top 5 players int he world imo. The amount of games he single handedly won for us is amazing. brilliant player but still a twat.

One of the best players we've ever had. Why he couldn't just see out his contract at City I don't know. He could stil have got a decent move afterwards if he wanted. I'm convinced he could have adapted, like Giggs did, & played on for years. He could have gone back to Argy or played in Spain or Italy. Boca, West Ham, anything he fancied. It's just a few seasons more & that's it; he can do what he wants.

Think he shown for us when he was the star man, go-to option he was great. When he is forced to be another member of the team (not always receiving the ball, make runs for other people, pass to keep possession) he is no longer a top 10 player. Tons of talent and desire, but never has been or will be part of a team. And to win the top competitions you need a team, not just a star player above the rest. Send him to russia to rot in siberia. He was good enough to be one of the stars of this team though. He hasn't bothered to get match fit this season & find out.

Who do you think is a better footballer Tevez or aguerro? Excluding off field factors.

He may have been physically and technically good enough, but he's always been mentally fucked. Seems to be up for the challenge from other teams, but can't stand the competition to get into his own team. The great thing about 99% of out players now is that they are physically, technically, and mentally sound. Tevez is lacking in what I'd say at this level is the key category

Gordon Taylor's just been on SSN looking very sheepish (and a little let down to be honest) saying that we could now suspend him until an official enquiry can be undertaken which would mean no pay either. Also went onto say that City officials are very clear on what's gone on and that he was not given permission to go away.

I wonder if Taylor will back Tevez and fuck City over this time?

This is the action we should take, I can't see Taylor backing Tevez on this one and if he does he's more of a dick than I thought

That twat Paul Smith was arguing with Martin Samuel on the subject a couple of weeks back, paraphrasing probably but the idea was...

Paul:"of course Taylor backs Tevez, he is from the PFA"

Martin:"he could have made this a victory for football"

Paul:"What does he care for football, his only interest is for the players"

Can anyone else spot the underlying flaw in that logic? What happens when the player's screw the game over so completely is becomes unviable? Whose interests will the PFA have when football, screwed to the wall by the PFA and their ridiculously god-like powers, no longer exists?

Seriously, WHO THE FUCK puts a union in charge of deciding whether fining a player is okay or not and who the fuck decided that anyone gave a fuck what they thought?

Hence the 'Conflict of interest' statement from City, which continued ......

Manchester City has been in constant dialogue with the PFA since September 28th. Today's PFA decision is a departure from the Club's understanding of that dialogue.

If we didn't know it was true it would actually be hard to believe that a union body have any say in what punishment one of their members receive. The fact that the PFA act as advisor, judge and jury is a farce.

I reckon this case, by flagging this issue up publically, make prompt change in the rules.

Sadly the likes of Beckham make the little twat, see through, Beckham is a brand and also a cash converter, he gives as much effort as Tevez, who plays for money endof, no soul, he has earned a shed load at 27, he has lost himself to a pimp, and to $£ signs. Football will see more players pissed off looking to walk away for reasons like falling out with a manager or falling out of love with the game.

even if a union is in charge, they should realize that it in the best interest of their group as a whole to not support tevez. Mr. Taylor put one player above all the rest. Now every other player will have a harder time in any similar case (even if they are in the right). He is a fuckwit

Aguero is a better technical player than Tevez & a better finisher imo but so far on average, in his alround game, hasn't performed anywhere near Tevez' level from last season. It's been masked by the quality of the team & the moments of sheer brilliance he has produced but on the whole Aguero hasn't actually played that well in quite a few games. The difference is; we needed Tevez desperately last season. This season the others have stepped up a level. If you look at Aguero's 1st half performance v the rags for example, he stank the place out but nobody noticed because we were doing a job on them.

A fully fit/focused Tevez would have been fantastic in this team & played as much as anybody, especially whilst Aguero settles in.

It's a gret pity that he's decided to be an arsehole rather than do his job.
