All City need to finish him, Carlos on the Mic belting out La Bamba, or even better a couple of knee slides thrown as he hits the town, Big Time and Gordon Taylor will combust.

I guess that depends what counsel for the defence and judge, jury and executioner Taylor has to say on the matter.

As for the sick note, i'm not convinced there is one. Both parties have refused to confirm there is and it does seem like the type of thing T***z' camp would use in their defence, so not sure why they would choose not to confirm when questioned by journalists.

The source of the sick note story is an alleged friend of T***z twatting that T***z had sent City the note. Hardly the most reliable of sources.

With Paul MacCarthy pulling the strings I am sure the very little comment from his peeps is controlled, I think Carlos on the Town pissed up is the next installment of Carlos Tevez, takes the piss.

Fair point, it's hard to know what to believe with some of the crap that's being concocted by T***z camp and then you have desperate lazy hacks looking for any scraps they can make a sensational headline out of.

One thing is very clear. Tevez is a very strange man.

I heard a story about him from someone who rents a house from the same landlord as Tevez about going round to Tevez's rented house and finding that him and his mates from Argentina who apparently just sit and play computers games and there was one of them who could not even be bothered to go to the toilet and would just shit on a newspaper and wrap it up and leave it there for the cleaner to pick up. True story. I heard it last year when he was everyones hero so kept it to myself.

I maybe do not buy the depression story but it would be understandable. He is not a normal guy. He was not cut out for the life he lives and certainly does not make his own decisions. He is a puppet for other people and has no say in his own life. No amount of money could make me want to live his life.

I havent trawled through all of this thread but I've heard people scoff at him being depressed then mention 'how can you be depressed on 200k a week' I've never suffered from it myself but know many who do. I have been down because of certain situations recently and its a horrible feeling but one I can and have shaken off. To be clinically depressed like he is claiming is completely different and it does not matter how much money or perceived happiness you should have. It's always there.

Playing devils advocate. It made me laugh post Munich with a whole host of ex players, pundits, and I am sure even people on this board saying he had committed the worst thing a player could do. Really? Is he worst than say someone who has killed someone as there are a few of those earning thousands of pounds playing football in England or someone who has constantly cheated on wife whilst projecting himself as sqeeky clean? What about a drug cheat? Assaulted his own team mate? Or sexually assaulted a women. Tons of them playing every week. A granny shagger and a tax dodger? Match fixing anyone?

He's a fucking idiot that is for sure. But this whole affair has be blown out of proportion.

Hanging around free-range shitters is reason enough to sack him. The Sheik doesn't associate with this type.

I really am torn about Tevez, i've given him the benifit of the doubt so many times, he's always come back and give 100% and done well for the team. after his BM exploits i thought that was it and never wanted to see him again in the blue shirt! But now with him going AWOL i'm starting to think differently, any normal person in his position would've come back when told! But i think he's honestly a bit simple(sorry if used the wrong word or offended anybody) and think he's being pushed and prodded into things he does'nt even understand. After all he's been in this country 5/6 years now and can't speak the language! I've got a couple of mates(i'm sure most of u have) that, basically r a bit thick and u have to look out for them. I've always known, like the rest of you that he is a puppett for Kia, but starting to think now he's being pushed and pulled and can't help himself, because he does'nt know how! Still want to get rid, but feel sorry for him! (A bit)

There has so far been no confirmation that Tevez has offered a sick note for depression or anything else. In fact, according to most sources, his handlers have denied it.

I've thought about this & I can imagine him suffering from some kind of mental problems but I'm not sure someone with clinical depression would choose to fly to Argentina just as all the players are arriving at the airport for the international match in front of the world's press, then go meeting up with reps from Boca Juniors, then go playing golf.

Nope, that's David Beckham type publicity hunting, not someone who's clinically depressed. He's a cunt, end of.

Smacks more of Kia threatening to instruct his client to be disruptive until he gets a transfer. The power swings in the balance of the players these days. Ultimately tevez will get his way. I doubt we will chase him for money through the courts it's bad for business all round. The real stand off will begin in January over the transfer fee vs his wages. The warning signs were there we just chose not to see them, we were so desperate for a viable big name and one that would stick it to the rags. We got it alright. With all the baggage.

Whatever happens next with Tevez, it was certainly not a mistake to sign him. He did the job we brought him in for & was hugely instrumental in getting us to the position of strength we have now. If it wasn't for Platini's attempts to handicap us financially, this wouldn't even register on the Sheikh's 'to do' list anyhow. He'll have ashtrays that are worth more than Tevez. It's an inconvenience, nothing more.

Exactly

You've got rags saying that Taggart had a 'masterstroke' not signing Tevez and that he had some 6th sense foresight not to sign him

Bollocks

They threw everything they could at him in the last minute, offering to make him the best paid player in their clubs history

Fact is, he came to us and almost single handedly dragged us into the CL place and the FA Cup Final...for that alone...despite me hating his guts...he has been worth every penny we have spent on him
