Can't fucking believe any of this Danny, last time I saw you (admittedly it's been a while) you were in flying form. Just donated some over to the account, I'd love to play this weekend but won't be there but hopefully it goes really well. Best wishes pal.

Never played six a side- will I still have my semi-circular "forcefield" around me? Got told by an osteopath the other day that I shouldn't really play for another 2 months(!!) so I definitely need to rethink if there's any likelihood of contact. I'm a daft bastard so I'm happy to ignore medical advice but throwing myself under the boots of a 17 stone Sunday leaguer really wouldn't be the best idea.

I'm not the type who backs out after making a pissed up promise but I'll admit I was kinda hoping this would be over subscribed by now after getting that advice! It appears I'll be needed though so I'll show my face as long as there's a "can't go in the area" rule. I played once or twice a week for 10 years before doing my arm over 3 months ago & done nothing since - I've never been out for this long so i suppose I'm a bit apprehensive, confidence- wise. Expect a Stuhr Ellegard performance at best. Maybe I'll pull an Arason out of the bag though.
