I'm feeling really apprehensive about Saturday! Players having travelled all over the world, some getting a kicking!
Ok Newcastle are unbeaten but the fact that they have nothing to lose and the best defence worries me!

When we, Everton that is, played at City in September we deployed Rodwell as a man marker on Silva which led to, probably, Silvas least effective game so far this season. Whether City have learnt from that is unknown. Having said that they still beat us 2-0 but not without a fair bit of luck. Tv evidence has shown that Citys' first goal resulting from a throw in, and a huge deflection, should have been awarded to Everton and a possible red to De Jong who elbowed Cahill in the tussle that led to the disputed throw in. However there was no denying City had most of the ball but the team, management and importantly their fickle fans where getting edgier by the minute until the breakthrough late on. If Newcastle can stifle City for long periods and get their crowd on their backs, coupled with Newcastles well organised defence and pace on the break with Ba then a point is not beyond you. A draw or Newcastle win will certainly be the best result to open up the league and make it more interesting, so here's hoping. Good Luck for Saturday.
Cheers

1.) Silva was man marked, but if he was so ineffective, why was he involved with both of our goals, and if he was that ineffective, how did he manage to weave and dazzle his way past 3 or maybe it was 4 everton players only to dispatch the ball to Aguero who then scored.
2.) I love hearing these excuses.... Despite it being a questionable throw in decision, the throw in and resulting play still needs to be defended I thought? They didn't defend it correctly, and we scored!
3.) The less said the better.
I honestly don't know who are more bitter at the minute, Blue Scouse, Rags, Spuds or the Arse fans....
Should be a good game nontheless on Saturday, I have always quite like Newcastle fans, and always enjoyed matches against them. Here's hoping for another good encounter!

We had a scare against QPR but we're are starting to win, when we should be dropping points.
We are a force to be reckoned with this season. Newcastle are the only remaining unbeaten side besides ourselves. They are undoubtedly the surprise package of this season, however the real test starts now.
Nobody is giving them a chance here, and I expect City to run riot.
