We need someone who will be content to play a bit part. An up and coming youngster or someone at the other end of their career with a decent track record.

Agreed. With that in mind Milito from Inter.

I'd rather we went for the golden oldie, it would leave the door open for the likes of Guidetti/Scapuzzi/Bunn to stake their claim in the next couple of years. If we signed another kid it may block their progress.

Isn't Milito 31?

Hardly buying a 36yo bit part player there.

Still getting damp at the thought of a swap deal for Villa though.

There is a monster of a German defender playing for Dortmund at the moment, but I am reluctant to put stock in defenders after being so wrong about the last.

32 mate.

He's hardly getting a look in at Inter this year. Inter want T***z, Milito plus cash would be a good deal imo. 2 year contract to Milito.

we don't need a milito type player right now, we have dzeko, imo similar types. I would sell him and buy RVP after arsenal don't get into europe at the end of this year, or sell and use the money to bring in a class defender.

Would Walsall sell?

I think we should swap tevez for a centre half, hummels or subotic fro
Dortmund! Or if were going for him, eriksson from Ajax!

If were after a striker he needs to be happy in the rotation: hoillett or Diego milito caliber!

What about Del Piero? I really want Bojan on loan at Roma
