Micah Richards

England's loss is City's gain. How Capello can ignore this lad is beyond me.

MotM today.

He was brilliant today as he has been for most of this season. Richly deserved being named MOTM.

Oh and before I forget, fuck Capello !

Richards: shoving it down Capello's throat one match at a time. Keep your cool Micah, and let your football do the talking - Capello is quite obviously DEAF.

Definitely MotM for me and for sure England's best RB.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

I think it's obvious to pretty much everyone besides Capello that Richards is the best RB around at the mo.

However, one less City player in the England squad means one less City player who can be injured on international duty. I'm going to be selfish, but I'm glad Richards isn't wasting his time in an abysmal England side.

Another very good performance from Micah today and I would like to see him played in Naples on Tuesday night. Have to say that my man of the match was Milner another outstanding performance and he combined the grit and workrate with some terrific passing and bits of class

Thought he was excellent! Ryan Taylor will be having sleepless nights! Mancini is right too, he can still improve but glen joh son being ahead of him at anything is just insulting

I don't think he was mom today. He played well though, and his goal was great opportunism.
It's difficult to pick a mom today, but i think Lescott or Nasri were worthier moms.

It will be interesting to watch the game again later to assess his defensive work which is the key issue as far as his England chances are concerned aren't they? No doubt today he was immense going forward.

Scores goals, assists goals, creates goals and stops goals (now and then).

Did well today but MotM for me was Milner, he was everywhere.

Spot on, Capello chooses right backs, not an extra winger/striker?

Please tell me why Johnson's there then?

I'd have given MoM to Yaya, with Milner second and Micah third. Awesome performance nonetheless.

Johnson isnt good enough, and isnt as good as Richards but his positioning is better. I am not saying I agree with Capellos choice, but I understand it. The national squad dont have the quality of players to cover up for Richards when he goes walkabout.

Just watched the Micah pen on Footie 1st, thought Foy bought it hook line and sinker ;-)

Personally thought SJ was MOTM for me
