Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Thinking back to his interviews, it was very rare that he ever looked happy.

Just saying.

Sad news. A likeable chap, and it was only a couple of weeks or so ago I saw him doing some punditry on TV.

Beefy mate, to get to a point in your life where you think suicide is the only option must be the single most horrible thing you could possibly go through. As I said, thoughts go to his family.

For the first time I can remember, I am genuinely upset about the death of someone I don't know.

This guy has been part of my footballing landscape for as long as I can remember, one of my all time favourite players, and latterly seemed to be getting it together with Wales. Seems even more surreal as he was only on Football Focus yesterday.

I'm totally shocked, gutted for his family, gutted for him that he felt he had no other option

This must be an absolutely brutal time for his family. God knows what drove to him to do this. If he was suffering from clinical depression you'd have hoped he'd have got treatment. RIP.

Shocking news. So sad.

I wonder how Bellamy will be affected by this and whether he will play today?

Will be one of the more poignant minute silences before the match today.

I wouldn't be so sure. Deep depression can hit you out of the blue, changing your mood in minutes, especially if you are a chronic sufferer. I speak from experience.

Christ.

If the circumstances are true, it's stranger still in the fact that things seemed to be going well for him in his work. The police have said 'no suspicious circumstances' though. Surely that would qualify as suspicious ?
