So Nasri is the latest boo boy? The thing that amazes me about the stick he gets is that if you actually looked at the amount of assists he has too his name, it becomes apparent he has settled in reasonably well. He is not as central as Silva, but he does a huge amount of good work that goes unnoticed.

Why not read the posts first? He's getting stick because he's not performing on the pitch. He may have a few assists but they all came in about two games.

Have you read all the comments? Most seem very balanced and have been trying to suggest where he'll fit in best. Doesn't sound like a boo boy to me.

I have read the thread sure, I just don't think its time to start getting on players backs. I suppose my frustration is more aimed at the people that sit around me at the ground, and has been misdirected to people here.

Just getting tired of every game he plays people sat around me stating how he is 'shite', a 'waste of money' and 'clueless'.

Surprised at that. It's a stupid attitude. If he's bobbins half way through next season then fair enough but I don't see how anyone could call him shit even now. He's had good bad & average games imo.

Nobody has ever even mentioned him around me. I don't think anyody I know has a strong opinion on him one way or the other.

For whatever reason there seems to be a genuine attitude around me that he should be every bit as good as Silva and play in a similar way, this seems to be based purely on the fact they play in a similar position.

No one expects him to be that good. But i suppose we're frustrated he's not performed even nearly as good as he can/should bar Spurs and Blackburn.

That's what's frustrating, because we know there's a quality player there, he just needs to step it up.

I think that is putting it best.

And discussing a player's performance good or bad is hardly labelling him the latest booboy, until you did. Do we call Micah the latest yayboy?

Actually he has 6 assists and 1 goal in 6 league games, nice return but then Dzeko hasn't really been performing and is still around the goal a game mark. Stats are aspects, they never give the whole picture.

Hardly ever easy to move clubs.

The important thing is that we have Nasri to choose from in our squad and not Adie Mike, Barry Conlan or Kiki Musampa!

Amen to that.

I liked Musampa though!

From twitter:
OptaJoe Opta Sports
24.4 - @SamNasri19 has created a scoring chance for team-mates more regularly than any other PL player - every 24.4 minutes. Probing.

interesting.

What classifies as a 'scoring chance'? If someone shoots from 35 yards does that count?

i heard this also. quite shocking as i have not been impressed at all. he's been very plain and uninteresting for me, yet the stats say otherwise. imagine how it'll be when he's actually impressing????

I'm glad we have him.If this is the worst he is going to be then I think that's not to bad. There have been a few games I think he has been ok and if he improves we will have another great player.

If you think about all the chances we've had that have been missed then it's very possible. Basically assisting a squandered chance.

Mint not have stood out, but put in a good effort and kept the ball very well. Not the easiest task to go back there but at least he worked very hard

Agreed, he was never shy to take the ball despite the constant abuse and was very unselfish on a night when others were trying to beat one man too many
