Steve Bruce is one jammy bastard. He gets the sack on 30th November, and then on 1st December all the department stores are looking to employ a fat twat dressed in red and white.

Much as I enjoy Bruce getting the sack, our away game at Sunderland on Jan 1st just became 20 times more difficult with O'Neill likely in charge of them.

Whilst this is true, we should be able to beat anyone. I like Sundyland and hope they do well.

All I can think is the new owners know that if the club gets relegated they will get a parachute payment for dropping down a division??

Maybe but it still doesn't really seem like a good idea. Bizarre, but disturbing for Blackburn fans.

When Jack Walker died, he will have thought he'd left the club in good hands (was it left to a son or relative or what, I can't remeber ?). Unless there is some amazing master plan behind all this, whoever sold the club to these geezers should be ashamed of themselves.

Excellent question. If you find an answer anywhere, please let us all know: we can't understand it either. :-)

He could be blackmailing someone, I suppose.

Newcastle went down, cleared the books of expensive flops, revitalized the squad with a lot of quality young players and look stronger now than they would have if they hadn't been relegated.

It's a hugely risky venture though, there is every chance they wouldn't be coming back.

Go down, get a decent manager, spend about £5m on new players and you'll walk that division.

Going down, getting 15 new managers and spending several million on Lee Bradbury is not recommended

The Championship is an incredibly difficult league to get out of at the first attempt. It's so competitive with a pick from 10 Clubs for 3 promotion spots. I understand the point with Newcastle but they're an exception to the rule because other Clubs would struggle to keep hold of Nolan and Barton. Only around half a dozen Clubs in the Championship haven't played in the Premiership before so it's a real wilderness for Clubs who haven't bounced back. Others went in to freefall.

Blackburn must dismiss Steve Kean to avoid any chance of relegation. One of my friends is a season ticket holder at Ewood Park and he's at his wits end with the situation.

Where did Kean even appear from to get the job. I can get a mcdonalds coaching badge will that mean I could manage at Ewood Park? I'd probably do a better job and I can use an iPad. Unlike the elephant man.

I took this from the BBC but before he got the job he was a coach with a bit of hype about him being the next big thing.

This is what Wiki says about him. Dunno if it's true or not.

Since retiring from playing Kean has worked as a coach for Reading, Fulham, Real Sociedad and Coventry City, working as an assistant to Chris Coleman at Fulham, Real Sociedad and Coventry.

In June 2008, it was reported that Kean was in talks with Chelsea to become assistant coach to Luiz Felipe Scolari. Kean's fluency in Portuguese from his playing days was believed to be a key reason for Chelsea's interest.

On 4 August 2009 Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce appointed Kean as his new first team coach. Kean replaced Karl Robinson who returned to Milton Keynes Dons. Allardyce commented that he had received numerous applications for the first team coaching position and Kean "stood out above the rest through his personality, experience and knowledge of football at the highest level

Wonder who he played for? Never heard of him until Fat Sam got sacked.
