Decent performance tonight, but I think until he fully intergrates with the squad that he will always do better in games where Silva isn't present.

He was ok as you say. I'm still waiting for that real 'wow, that's why we bought him' performance.

I think sometimes in can just take one moment to really get your career going with a club. With Silva, it was when he came off the bench against Blackpool, made one and scored a stunner, maybe that's what it'll take with Nasri. He juts seems to be lacking in confidence.

interesting.

His problem is consistency, he has super games against spurs and blackburn and then did next to nothing in the rest, if you take those two games out id like to see the stats again....

I thought he was crap v Arsenal personally but I think he will prove a very good signing & well worth the money in the long run.

The important thing is that we have Nasri to choose from in our squad and not Adie Mike, Barry Conlan or Kiki Musampa!

Amen to that.

I liked Musampa though!

Kiki was almost as good as Image head.

Oh and Nasri will come good eventually.

2nd best, Spurs game I think he was amazing.

Really seemed to be running the show at times today which was odd with Silva on the pitch.

he was brilliant. noticed he took up a more central role today. good timing for nasri to play well b/c silva was well off the pace.

That was his debut wasn't it? I agree about that one being his best, I think it spoiled us all with what we were expecting from him.

I think he got 3 assists on debut, it was like watching the final piece fall into place.

Things have cooled since then, Aguero isn't scoring at 2/game...which is sad, but they are starting to get it right, Aguero and Nasri will slot in eventually with Dzeko, Silva and Yaya and it's just too scary to imagine.

Injury? Oh well, on ya go Balo, Another injury? Milner, Another one? Johnson....fucking hell, even Scapuzzi could do a job in the odd game(like he did at Wolves).

How do we not win the league, honestly?

He was good today but i'm not raving overall, he needs to put in good performances more than one game every five.

If you recall the start of last season, at home against Liverpool, Milner had a fine game and then, as the season progressed, had some indifferent form. This season, he seems more like the player we hoped he would be.

It could well be the same with Nasri and, as he 'grows' into becoming a City player, he might become more consistent towards the end of this season, or it might not be until next season when we see him playing continually at his best.

We can only give him time.

Best I've sen him play - only saw the MOTD version of Spurs and I don't trust their highlights, despite how good he looked. Hopefully he's settling in and he'll continue to put in good performances. Not everything came off today, but he worked hard

I didn't mention it in the Friday training report but at the end, when most had gone in except AJ and Milner for their shooting practice, the boss stayed as well and took Nasri away from the pitch with an arm round his shoulder and had a decent long chat.

Next match was arguably his best yet.

He looked a yard quicker/sharper. Whatever Bob said; it worked.

I genuinely think Nasri has just been too polite in his overral play. Happy to blend in and pass it around nicely.

He works best when he's being more directive and moving at a quicker pace darting about. He's a little different to Silva, and that should be encouraged. He looked like the Nasri of Arsenal today.
