Watch it in Fujairah UAE on Abu Dhabi sports network, good coverage with English commentary. Was watching with a Norwich fan and he couldn't believe how quickly we closed em down and chased the ball. He was going on about how many chances they had against the scum because they are so open. We are a different class. nuff said. Next game I'll get to see is the Stoke game, I'll be in Bahrain for that, I predict a riot.

Enjoyed that. Passed the ball to start, probed for an opening and then did the business. Seemed to be going for it from the off rather than 20 mins in. Wasn't surprised at all to see 6 across the back with 3 sat in front for them and it's good to see we can work our way through these teams; our keep-ball play really exhausts the opposition, mentally as well as physically.

Some good goals today as well, Aguero's cheeky stab into the corner and Mario's, what can you say, not a great goal but taken with such arrogance it made it a goal that will never be forgotten.

Oh, I still don't like it when Vinnie moves to the left, he plays well but has a tendency to try and do it all, pushing into Kolo's space ratr than covering his own. It may be a trust thing, I don't know.

All-in-all, a good day out and 3 more points in the bag. Apart from them getting a sloppy goal and well pleased with what we're producing, who wouldn't be.

I thought that was, for the most part, superb. I loved the pointless passing & thought it only went wrong when they tried to force it. Only complaints: Sergio should have had a hat trick. Kolo was terrible. Vinny was disorganised & poor. The rest, I thought, were superb, including AJ & Mario, who's goal was hilarious.

I think Mancini changed tactics second half.....it was like we wanted them to have the ball to get them to attack with more forward..then we nick it off them and score.

It worked a treat and I really believe we toyed with them.

And that why I said it ;-)

Can't wait to see the faces on MotD, wonder if they'll focus on the above or praise Norwich for a resolute but unlucky performance. After watching that I'll watch some decent highlights on Footie First.

Good display today. Nasri, Barry and Jinky were standouts for me. Clichy looks as good as Lahm going forward, doesn't he? Micah again with a staunch performance. Vinnie did fine with a new partner. Kolo was iffy as fuck for me, but improved as the match went on. The "raging" non-debate about whether Kolo or Lescott should play against Bayern Munchkin is laffable, prollee even for CARL. NDJ looked solid to settle us down. Dzeko had a solid if unspectacular performance. Silva had an off night of sorts, for him, but still mattered, and even when he slips down a peg Nasri was there to pick it up which is the first time we've been able to say that. What a feeling as a City fan. It's somewhat ridiculous, in the most soul-satisfying way.

The negatives:
Kun's finishing has me a bit worried.
We literally stopped playing for the 10 minutes we were under pressure when they scored. What Clichy was doing i have no idea, but it was pathetic. We need to get solid at the back because it's going to come back and bite us hard very soon, no ifs ands or buts.

cheers

Why was Clichy left to mark Morrison though? Because Kolo had gone awol trying to close the ball down leaving us short in the middle. He does it far too often.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Impossible to know if that is ever a plan... for any team, but yes it works or seems to. On paper it seems like a good tactic.. in reality I rekon teams would think it is just too risky to actually go and try it.

One thing is for sure they would never admit it publically even if it was the plan.

The huge players left the smallest defender to mark the biggest striker. They were a mess organisationally throughout the game & could have conceded 3 goals from aimless punts down the pitch.

Nasri looked a different player today. If we can just knock some of the Arsenal out of him & get him to shoot rather than stop, he'll be perferct for us. AJ keeps scoring or creating absolutely fantastic goals whenever he plays & gets no recognition from fans, manager or England manager. Bizarre.

Going forward we were imperious. In defence up front we were relentless and pressed ever so well. At the back we were diabolical.

I actually had the shits up after that game because we conceded. What the hell?

People moaning after 5-1 win. What fucking ever.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I found it incredible when their manager started moaning about it being a 'harsh' scoreline. FFS, just admit you got thrashed, you turd.

Morison should have had at least a yellow possibly a red for his attack on Hart as well. Can't believe they didn't mention that at all on MotD.

I thought he went in studs first when he screwed up his break away. Definitely dangerous play.
