Only prob with the draw is its a titanic battle, prob live on tv on the sunday, just 3 days head of the Carling Semi. Liverpool got a cakewalk tie too so in that sense it wasnt the ebst.

That said, we are the holders and to win it we would have to beat them at some stage so may as well get it over with, and its at our own patch.

Id also stick the bastards up in the Third Tier as well.

We also lose Yaya for most of January for the fucking Africa Cup of nations. I hope he gets a slight hamstring which prevents him from going.

I still think we need to strengthen the squad in January. A fourth striker, maybe Alex to replace Kolo and a decent young winger with pace and a decent delivery would really boost our prospects of the title.

That works out just short of a game every 4 days. Usually we could play a 2nd string team to ensure victory but if we want to make it through then we may have to play with a stronger set-up. Then take Yaya and Kolo out of the equation and it makes it so much more difficult.

Ah well, not to complain, it's the price of success I guess.

Fucking hate and don't understand why the African Cup has to be every two years and in the middle of the damn season. But how funny would it be if Hargreaves emerges to sub in while Yaya is gone and hands it to the rags. If he gets 100% fit, he certainly is better than anyone they have in midfield. And theres enough time for him to make it happen
