Whatever happens I'll be sick of the sight of him - though I like your final scenario, it would make it bearable.

I'd include a strong Academy contingent in that as well mate, 25 players, although it looks a lot, doesn't seem to be enough when you look at those fixtures.

I don't think we have any academy players who are ready yet.

I'm more talking about in the future mate but you never know, there just may be a few surprises.

I think we'll have a lot of such players in the future. I would have been happy enough for Bunn & Guidetti to get a few sub appearences this season but they need regular games in order to develop.

Very true Sis but out of all the teams to be pitted against in the Cup it would've been nice to at least see us get a lower league side. Haven't we had Brum, Wolves and the Arse in the CC, now 2 legs against the Dippers. There's nothing like doing it the hard way!

God knows what will happen if we somehow get through in the CL?

I know its not the greatest draw but its all about the big games for me and they dont come any bigger that the rags. They will be smarting after the 1-6 and out to prove a point, we will be going out to prove that we are not only top dog in Manchester but in England. If i had to choose something to win though it would be the Premier all day long and this should be our No 1 priority.

There's no complaints from me (as Chinners seems to think), this season has been the best for many of us. The Prem has got to be everyones priority considering the start we've had. Anything else is an added bonus.

Ha ha, it wasn't aimed at anyone tbh ... City fans I know off here have said similar, I'm just glad we are at this stage without getting all ragarse about it ... yet

No worries mate. I'd be concerned if City fans didn't get worried about these things, especially if they had the attitude that we can beat anyone we like, when we like. Next we'll be thinking we can scoore when we want. Pffft.

Beat United in the third round. Draw Liverpool in the Fourth round. Come on..... Bring it on .

This is what we've wanted all along, we've got the squad and we're playing great football. Play good, clean football, at the highest level. This team can do it.

I was thinking that, if he does fuck all I can't see how we'd miss him.

Mark, I think he will miss the Wigan game on the 16th Jan, before that I dunno.

Yes, it looks a bit tough. But, do you think the rags want to play us at our place?

In Feb, they've got to play Chelsea and the scousers, in early March they're away at spurs.

My thoughts are, if they aren't six points in front of us by the end of Jan we'll finish above them. (Mind you, that might not be enough to win the league.

I could be wrong but I'm sure I heard/read that during a major tournament they can call them up 2 weeks prior to the first game. Like I say, I could be wrong.

Kolo missed a match 8 days before the last tournament but played in the match 13 days before. So somewhere inbetween there I am guessing.

I have just found out that as of the next tournament they are switching it to odd years, taking the piss of the highest order the next tournament is in 2013.

Well on a positive negative note, if we lose any won't have too much time to moan before next fixture so we can put it right. If we win them all we will truly be in contention for everything. What more could we ask
