Great possession and goal. Unlucky from augero a few times and the other goal should never be disallowed. Savic, nasty, and silva are playing great. Yaya could tighten up a few passes but good running off the ball

Halfway there

Correct - it´s fuclin galling to see him holding their defence together single handedly. The guy is a prize one twat

We should be out of sight - they´d better not start bringing the big guns on or it will get very nervy

not really, he murdered a couple of their defenders just afterwards. I hope he plays the whole second half how he finished the first.

Saw it, I reckon he'll be ok, soon as he rolled onto his back he was testing his knee by bending and straightening it pretty viciously. Looked more like a strain caused by another play half landing on Vidic's knee while it was turned at an angle. As he was being carried off he didn't look totally gutted.

Sort of a typical CL game. I thought BM looked very well organised and were stopping us playing our normal passing game pretty well.We showed good patience and got the reward and now we have to make the most of the fact that they must change their tactics if not immediately maybe after 15 or 20 minutes of the 2nd half.

I do hope we are 2 up when they bring on 2 or 3 of their big guns

Well, all looking good so far (touch wood) and we're controlling the game. A little worried when they get a quick break but we've seen the danger and got it under control. Big Dave is awesome and Barry has mopped up at the back whilst getting the ball forward. The bonus for me was Vidic getting his just desserts, let's just hope he's not out for to long, eh.

Just listening to the half-time Villareal review and although it seems quite even, you can really hear how much Trevor Francis wants Napoli to get something. Ter-wat!
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".
