Every Cloud..

Rags losing has taken the edge off my disappointment of not qualifying

We gained 10 points in the group of death which is a total that would normally be enough

The rags failed to qualify from a group of part time pig farmers

No shit taken in the office tomorrow!

Plus all the media attention and back pages devoted to them which takes the pressure off us

Plus we won tonight so can kick on for the Chelsea match on Monday!

I hope our coefficient is good enough to get us into pot 2 next season, it should make things a little easier in the long run.

According to Opta we are the first club to not progress after picking up 10 points since Werder 5 years ago (TomS is our good luck charm I guess).

I like the idea of another title contender getting sucked down the Europa League rabbit hole (whither Spurs?) particularly in such humiliating fasion, on the other hand I would be sick at the sight of another cup tie against scummy red shit after Community Shield, FA Cup, & Carling Cup.
