They aren't, they are actually pretty crap team living beyond their means. Early bath will hurt them more than just pride this time.. and right from the top down. The confidence will start to wane now, the press will get on the case and real cracks will start to open up. Do they play West Brom soon? Someone like that beating them will open the floodgates.
Going out at this stage for them is one of the unthinkables.. this will dent them as much as we did in the Derby.
The reaction goes from the top down. What did Taggart say, 'Never been in the Europa, it's a punishment for not getting into the knockout stage', or words to that effect. That's the attitude of all the Rag fuckers, it's from the top down.
I haven't read much but they are already saying some dumb shit things. Senior players and Baconface all showing their utter devestation. Not a good idea that and it will have already infected them. Losing and going out was bad, making the kind of public noises they have is like writing out a suicide note in public. Big fuck up followed by even bigger fuck up.
Contrast Mancini's careful summary.. made mistakes, looking forward and looking to improve.
Bring on the Fa Cup.
Unfortunately their next 3 games are Wolves, QPR & Fulham. If those treams really got stuck into them, at least one would probably take some points off them but chances are they will miss open nets, make defensive blunders, give away pens, score own goals because they are shitting themselves at the hugeness of the wonderful Maaaan Uuuu.
If they were playing any of the top 5 now they would have big problems but, as usual, they're not. They are stuffy bastards.
