I think I'd like to nick Van Persil even though he is a snotty camp looking fucker. It would have the Arse and their lickers up in arms. And he knows where the onion bag is.

I'd wish for Santa to put Colin Bell into his time transporter and bring him back into the team! Failing that then I will settle for Messi please!

Suarez...so i can punch him first in the neck, then in the dick right underneath the xmas tree.

If he were to bring City a player, i can't even Hazard a guess at who i'd suggest we could use creatively in midfield. Perhaps, my Levezzbian friend, Ms Andie could help me find a Silva lining to help reinforce central defense as well? i dunno, i'm at a loss.

Messi is pretty obvious & so is Ronaldo (for those who can stand the bastard), so I think we should assume Santa won't deliver them & pick somebody else or it won't be much fun.

Then it becomes interesting because apart from those two, you could make a pretty good case for signing nobody, as Soccs has done. The bloke we're after, Rossi, is as close to the perfect signing for now imo. My No 1 priority though is a CB or two but I don't know who.

For a good fun, Christmassy, icing on the cake type signing though I'd probably go for Eriksen or Hazard.

Edit: just read the Suarez idea, you could count me in for that actually.

Mine would be a commanding centre half. Not sure who but a Terry/Vidic type, but younger and still fit. Kompany isn't that sort and Lescott, despite being much better this season, isn't commanding.

A top class centre back. Thiago Silva is meant to be nifty.

Apart from the obvious players that will never come I'd have to say a playmaker type alá Silva. A young guy that has the world ahead of him like Kroos, Goetze or Özil.

Sure there are others out there that fit the bill but those were the only ones I could think of atm. A few brilliant Swisss youngsters out there too, Xherdan Shaqiri springs to mind although not the classic playmaker type.
