Don't care if it was a good finish, his diving and cheating before he scored was unreal. Would dive then hound the ref waving an imaginary card for 5 mins. Cunt of a human being, disgrace to the game

Last night we had another example that Tranny can't perform when is really necesary. In big games he was/is shite.

I've watched the game in spanish commentary and they said something like this (i hope i got it right): Tranny said he was sent by God to play football and Messi replied: I didn't sent anyone.

Hmmmm. Wanker stuff like being sent by god i would expect from ronaldo. Messi claiming to be god i wouldn't expect and i would say is going a bit too far.

He scored only once (from penalty) in 8 games with Barcelona. When he was at Scum again he was world class with smaller teams. When he will decide a final at his club or lead Portugal like Figo or Rui Costa did, he will be complete.

Ronaldo is a flat-track bully. As goes the cricket parlance.

I thought that game was dogshit for 95% of the time. And what a cauldron the Bernabau isn't, I have absolutely been in noisier libraries.

Ronaldo cost them a point last night, the two open goals he missed would have made it 3-3.

Just watched a recording of it this morning, & those are the very words that came into my mind re Ronaldo. He was nothing short of pathetic. In contrast, Messi was determined to get Barca back into the game & did, as usual, with a quite fantastic run & pass. The difference between the two is huge. Without him, Barca would be half the team they are.

Agreed. I thought his performance and all round lack of effort was shameful.

Can't understand why Mourinho tollerates it. He'd be umplayable if he had a half decent attitude.

His incredible goalscoring record v inferior teams makes him pretty much undroppable, as it did when he was a rag.

He's without doubt the second best player in the world. No one even comes close to Him and Messi.

The difference between them is that Ronaldo is a selfmade player who has got to where he is through hard work and determination, whereas Messi has a God-given talent and was born with his abilities. Determination can let you down more than innate talent.

Didnt see the match last night so cant comment on that specifically, but taking any hatred for ronaldo aside, i agree with bridgesrightfoot he is is the second best footballer in the world by a country mile, his problem is messi is prob the best in the world by a country mile too!

I thought it was a really good match to watch but would agree tranny had a stinker. Some bad decision making in the early part but generally he was just poor.

no sarcasm, you seem to be implying you think Messi developed his skills through use - I don't agree. I think he honed a natural talent. I also think Ronaldo was born an above average player who got to where he is through self-belief and an almost obsessive aproach to training. (same as Beckscum)

In the spanish cup? Yep, forgot about that, but still. He is world class, the second best in the world, but he is not a leader and he will never be one.
Spot on, his problem is/will be Messi, no mather what.

Aye, I mean those two are just frighteningly good. Van Persie who imo is the best in the league ( shades it ahead of Silva just) could possibly have been up there if it wasn't for his injuries.
