Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Unbelievable. Un. Be. Lievable. That's the first City shirt I ever had and it's utterly delicious. I need one in my life. The 'brother' logo, being black, used to fade after a thousand or so washes, so I used to re-colour it in with a black felt-tip. The maroon away was almost as sweet. I remember the collar used to have a press stud at the corner, but no 'female part' on the shirt, to pop it into. That was vaguely frustrating, but it's still a fantastic shirt.

Spare me the Freud on that please.

Paul Lake to me, but could just be my memory. I had one of these, but think it was probably fake, since you had to pass an initiative test to buy a genuine City shirt back then - Peter Swales, marketing genius.

Price isn't exactly retro, is it? Not like they had to pay the designer and it won't have one of these fancy modern cloths, so why the price? Are press studs expensive?

That was my first ever City Shirt. I remember that my Dad bought it for me as a surprise as he was trying to convert me into a City fan. It worked and I have nothing but happy memories of wearing it to school and out playing football. The badge did fall off quite easily though.

I hope that they bring back the Kappa shirt!

On the clubs page, I see the Tops are knocked down in pricing. I want to get home, but those things, Im sorry, are such crap this year. What the F*ck is that extra collar supposed to be anyhow? Did they ever say?

I got my Aguerro away shirt at the beginning of the season and I was a bit dissappointed with the numbers on the back! You could see the red and black right through them......did anyone else have this problem?

Any hopes on next years kit ?

Ha..funny you just brought this back up, I ordered the home and away earlier. I havent grabbed a shirt since we went back to umbro a couple of years ago, where I brought both the home and away with Tevez and Robinho on the backs. Iv opted not to have numbers and names on the backs this year. I personally think they just look better with names and numbers but I dont want to jinx anything like Iv done in the past.

Also bought the retro 1981 fa cup final shirt a few weeks back. Lush shirt but a little tip, go a size up from what you usually get in the new shirts. I got this seasons in a 38 as that is what I got for the one from a couple of seasons ago. I hope this seasons are roughly the same fit?? The 1981 shirt comes up alot smaller and I had to go up a size. What is the fit like on the 1989 shirt?? I like them to be pretty fitted.

I'd be a bit disappointed with them spelling his name wrong too.

As for next year, my hopes are the same as ever. A proper collar and white-band fitted sleeves.
