Another point is Aguero's miss. Great player that he is, he misses a lot of chances.

Ill no doubt get slaughtered fot this but I think he's been quite wasteful. I hope it's just sharpness and we see a more clinical Aguero going forward.

Clattenberg cost us last night but Sergio should burried his chance and put us two up.

Here's a thought. Who is going to play left back against Walcott on Sunday? We are exposed my friends. Keep the money in the wallets lads. This next game is going to be very very difficult.

Zaba , next question.

The Arse game is all about how we attack and take chances and not about how we manage Walcott. Or at least it should be.

kompany was the biggest culprit of the long ball hoofing it into no where, yaya looked out of it tonight for some reason, once we stopped keeping possesion then they came back into the game. as for clattenburg two words describe him BLIND TWAT!!

Interesting how we have started so many games slowly this season and gone on to win and win well. But v Chelsea just as with Bayern we have started superbly well, looked the business and could easily have gone 2 up only for the opposition to adapt there style of play, begin to stop our flow and go on to win the game. Both times we lost it a bit as well.

Midfield legs. After the first 30 mins their midfield energy and work rate started to dictate the game. They looked so much more mobile than us. I felt the same when watching Bayern and Napoli away.

everytime we play bad, it's the referee's fault. It is not, it is mancini's fault to let the players go to a total defesive style of the game after the goal, it hasn't helped that silva was crap, aguero also, and some more. I can exclude Millner, Zaba and Hart from this bunch of pussies.

How times have changed though, eh. The way that the so-called big clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool celebrated after the game just shows what they now think of us.

I don't think they were that much more mobile than us, we were just never going to be keep up that early tempo for more than half an hour or so.

I thought it was when they started to sit incredibly deep and we started hoofing it long that they began to look better. I don't know why we stopped passing the ball.

the penalty decision - or non decision was the turning point tonight. Its either a penalty or a yellow for diving, everyone knows it was a pen. We go 2 up, Chelsea have to open up more and we pick them off. Sergio should have got one as well. We looked great for the first 20 mins - even Tyler and Butch took their rag and Chelsea wank socks off.

We were a bit impatient when Chelsea dropped deep, trying to force it a bit. Should have played the ball around the back a bit more, draw Chelsea out, and show more composure. Hoofing balls half the length of the pitch is a Pearce tactic, and look how well that went for us.

Thought Clattenburg was too card happy considering the conditions, but no complaints for Clichy's 2nd yellow - why the fuck didn't he use his right foot???

Disappointing performance, but Chelsea are a good side and not as poor as people have been making out. We'll come back against Arsenal providing we keep 11 players on the pitch. We've lost 1 in 14 this season, just about, to a pen, when we had 10 men for over half an hour.

Some of the reactions on here are both pathetic and disgusting. These are the players and manager that have fired us to the top of the league breaking various records and given us a season to date that we will never forget. Now, one defeat and people are the knives are out. Some folk should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Grow up and accept a rare defeat like adults

Its tough to take but the Media are disgusting this morning. Apparently Chelsea's win is good for the whole league. If we'd won we'd have been champions, but because we lost its wide open. Arent we still 7 points ahead of Chelsea and play them at home?

The only game left to fear is Arsenal away.

All the other "big" teams play us at ours.

People have no focused on how good Un*ted's start has been, bar the 1-6 they are having their best start to the league, despite looking utterly shit in every game.

Look at the goal different, it usually sorts out the league position wise - look at the tables in the last 10 seaons. The pattern is usually set my Christmas. We are full of goals.

Its all about the next game, back to winning ways, nice 4-0'er would do.

Imho there won't be a any focus on them. I am really surprised that their game with Wolves wasen't a "new wake up call". The ref gave a pen for Newcastle with them and critics went through the roof and that was the first huge mistake against them in the last three years (trust me, i counted).

If we like it or not, the refs had been a disgrace in our games after the rag win. Qpr, Scouse, Chelski, even that young lad that had our home game with Wolves, all of them were shite and this can only confirm that "win for the premiership" scenario.

The game with Arse is huge and without Clichy, Kolarov and maybe Micah it will be even harder. Imho, this month and january are decisive for our title hopes. We have difficult games, instead our opponent have a lot of "joking" games. (Wigan & Blackburn home on Boxing and New Year's).

So let's pull ourselves together and show Arse what we are capable of.

The exact reason why I purposely stayed away from this forum last night and up until now. I knew it'd be make for unbearable reading.

We lost. It was always gonna happen one day. Oh well. Let's just beat Arsenal.

Great point about United, they have made their best ever start and are on target to beat their own record points total, it just so happens that we have been better. There is a long way to go, if United do their usual second half of the season we have our work cut out, but I still think we can do it.

If we are not trailing by more than 3 points at the end of Jan (our hardest month) we will win the title in my eyes.

I blame Clichy.

Sturrdige raped him, fucked him up & humiliated him several times. Clichy is to blame for their first goal.

What a prick, I mean come on get a grip will you. At 30 mins we were 1-0 up and should have had a pen because Silva turned the lad inside out. Thats awarded and then 2-0 at that stage would have simply blown them out of the water, Mancini has turned this team and club into a real force. We have just lost for the first time this season in the prem, score more goals then anyone would have put money on for this stage of the league, not to add al the records we have broken. We only have 1 of the top 6 teams left to play away, and they all have to come to us, they way I see it is even if we get xmass on level points with the scum we have the better run of games and if offered at the start of the season would have taken faster then you could blink.

You're all winding me up looking for people to blame it on.
Just graciously accept defeat, await them coming to ours, and enjoy us spanking them by a cricket score.
What happened last night happened, just move on.

This sums up my feelings perfectly, can't win them all, we are in a great position, onwards and upwards.
