Why did Joe dive that way? Frank always goes either the other way or middle. Ponderous.

I'll throw a thought into the mix. Could we be tempted to throw a cheeky bid in for him in 3 weeks time? Cover for Yaya?

Just a thought, I'll go back into my cave now.

Now bingo lad, where did I say that I wanted to sign him? I just merely bobbed my head out to ask whether anyone thought that City/Mancini could be thinking of him as an option

Have to say it's sticking in my craw that Lampard is getting all the headlines.

He was dirt last night. Sturridge was their match winner and should be receiving the plaudits not that fat has been.

Lampard has been the best attacking midfielder in the premier league for many years. His goals from midfield are second to none over the years. His assists have been outstanding too. He is way past his best now but to call him shit is complete bollocks

I also agree with this, im a massive fan of Lampard, i just dont think he deserved any credit from last night. I dont think chelsea were that good last night at all despite all this shite about them been back in the title race etc, they wont win jack. Although Romeu looked decent but he drops very deep, very very comfortable on the ball, british players could learn a thing or two from him.

sorry mate, i disagree.
He only gets as many goals as he does coz he's getting all the penalties (which he still misses his fair share of) and is forever shooting on site. He's no team player, and I reckon half his assists will be rebounds from his shots.
I've never rated Lampard, never ever.

Bullshit, he's a deep striker carried by a team whos always had a capable target man and a strong midfield to cater for him. Drogba in front and a selection from Essien/Mikel/Makelele behind was even making Gudjohnson look world class while he was there. Credit to AVB he's actually copped on to this guy.

He's not passed his best at all, he hasn't changed in the slightest. He's still the same guy who masquerades as a central midfielder yet he needs two actual central midfielders beside him due to his incapability to do that job and relies on a ball winning front man to provide the chances for him to actually do something useful. He's a dreadful player if he doesn't have those things.

So a manage realise that he can get 20+ goals a season from a central midfielder by giving him support and you think he is shit because of this?

2004 - 19 goals and 16 assists
2005 - 20 goals and 9 assists
2006 - 21 goals and 15 assists
2007 - 20 goals and 11 assists
2008 - 20 goals and 19 assists
2009 - 27 goals and 20 assists
2010 - 13 goals and 6 assists
2011 - 8 goals and 5 assists

Ok Mr bullshit find any premier league midfielder who can get close to those stats?

Lampard is unhappy on the bench, or so the press is reporting.

Watch Chelsea slip into bad habits again this weekend. He'll (manager) probably have to start 'lamps' ( oooh I hate that nickname)
and they will not get lucky again like last night.

I think the more Lampard plays the less effective Chelsea will be. He's not the Messiah !
