Agreed, he probably has a better goal ratio then most PL strikers/

He is the most over rated player in premiere league. And also what as he done for England. They made him out last night as though he was a god when he scored that penalty for me he is an as bin even Chelsea coach don't seem to rate him seems to be on bench more than playing. Think is Chelsea says are numbered.

90 caps and 23 goals for England, another impressive stat for a midfielder. You lot need to take those bitter specs off.

Is it me being uncool or uninformed about modern day Mancspeak ?

When did we drop the 'h' off Has ? It seems to be cropping up all over the place these days ? It's worse than 'would of' and 'could of'

Or, is an 'as bin' ( Has been ?), similar to an asbo ?

Anyway I'm getting confused with the modern slang. Someone please help me.

I recognize that i am being a little bit pedantic. Even when I make typing errors, I will go back and correct them when i see them.

However, we've got to stop the rot. Just like stopping United ......

Completely agree. Lampard has been class for years.

People have been having a go at him for years saying he's over-rated etc, other people big him up or slate him, he hardly ever speaks out and when he does he comes across as reasonably intelligent and sensible. Doesn't stand there posturing like the twat Ronaldo.

Unbelievably consistent and no other midfield player I can think of has scored as many goals over the past 10 years as he has. Also Chelsea would not have won as many trophies if it had not been for him along with Terry, Drogba, Cech.

He has been a fantastic player for Chelsea but not for England imo, (they are better without him & he ruins the balance, irrespective of goalscoring). And ' has been ' is exactly what he is becoming now.

Bullshit, he's a deep striker carried by a team whos always had a capable target man and a strong midfield to cater for him. Drogba in front and a selection from Essien/Mikel/Makelele behind was even making Gudjohnson look world class while he was there. Credit to AVB he's actually copped on to this guy.

He's not passed his best at all, he hasn't changed in the slightest. He's still the same guy who masquerades as a central midfielder yet he needs two actual central midfielders beside him due to his incapability to do that job and relies on a ball winning front man to provide the chances for him to actually do something useful. He's a dreadful player if he doesn't have those things.

So a manage realise that he can get 20+ goals a season from a central midfielder by giving him support and you think he is shit because of this?

2004 - 19 goals and 16 assists
2005 - 20 goals and 9 assists
2006 - 21 goals and 15 assists
2007 - 20 goals and 11 assists
2008 - 20 goals and 19 assists
2009 - 27 goals and 20 assists
2010 - 13 goals and 6 assists
2011 - 8 goals and 5 assists

Ok Mr bullshit find any premier league midfielder who can get close to those stats?

You're trying to support he's a good central midfielder by touting his ability in the final third? He's a deep lying striker as I said, he's not a central midfielder. He's a good deep lying striker don't get me wrong but people seem confused as to the actual role he plays in teams just because he happens to line out deeper than where they imagine in their own head a striker should line out. You act as if he's some kind of master midfielder and imply that he does the job of a midfielder while also on the side does the job of a striker, this isn't the case. He doesn't do the job of a midfielder at all, he's woeful at it. He does the job of a striker playing from deep and thats it. It would be more accurate to compare his scoring rate to an Aguero/Tevez/Rooney/Messi/Ronaldo or others who play a similar role to a number 10, which is essentially Lampards role.

What? Try and brainwashing someone else with that shit. When chelsea played lampard behind drogba, torres and anelka all in the same team, what is their formation 4-2-1-3? I can't believe i am when bothering to reply!

Lampard is indeed a twat, and an overrated footballer, but FAT he isn't. The only people who could legitimately call him fat are anorexics. One of the biggest ironies in football is beer bellied fatsoes on the terraces telling athletic footballers that they are "fat".

Tevez, however, is a fat bastard.
