Well, no Fulham to compete with.

What the hell were they thinking? Naive.

I thought Fulham's goals were City-esque... I'll leave others to comment on the ones Fulham conceded.

It was a sorry tale of fuckwittery, the likes of which we City fans have rarely seen in recent years.

I'd love it if we would be drawn against Salzburg.

Roberto Mancini was the man who brought us our first trophy in 35 years. He was the man that brought us our first league title in 44 years. He brought us one of the greatest moments of our lives. He masterminded a 6-1 win at Old Trafford, and a Wembley win over United. He challenged Ferguson, he argued with him on the touchline, he brought success, and he punched the air in delight with the rest of us at the madness of it all. He had style, panache and a winning smile. All those memories he gave us will never be forgotten, in a wonderful period in this club’s long history.
And I swear, we’ll never see anything like it again.

What we dont want is a draw that sends us to the back end of shitville in the far east. Somewhere close would be ideal so a French, Belgian, Dutch, Austrian, Swiss or German team would be ideal.

Dont want anybody from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Greece etc.

Realistically it's 1 from 27 teams coz i cant see Celtic getting through and if Brum get a miracle we cant play them coz of home association immunity in the round of 32.Doh i posted without realising that we cant draw a seeded team also in this round so if my maths are right we have only one of 15 possible opponents who we could draw as Stoke are the only other home association club to have made it through.

Too bad he probably won't make it back in time. Started this season on fire (11 in 11), then ruptured his cruciate ligament in August.

Further evidence the Europa League is mugging itself off (copyright I Wright), from Press Association on Twitter

Man City may have to play Europa League 2nd leg at home at 5pm on a Tues as MUFC get priority as reigning PL champs

Man City's only option is to give up their home advantage for 2nd leg - if their opponents agree. MUFC to play on the Thurs night as usual

So, we can either kick-off in front of nobody at 5pm, or give up the 2nd leg at home advantage. Terrific.

Absolutely ridiculous. Why can't we/them play on the Wednesday? Like you say, it's UEFA shooting itself in the foot.

In that case ring them up and put us down for a loss.
