To me what he said was not derogatory,abusive,slanderous,hateful or anything like that.It may have been a bit creul and catty but it was a joke and a lot of jokes work by using those aspects.If people are gonna use this incident to further their dislike of him then it is just an excuse.

For me his involvement in the behind the scene shady meet ups in cafés with Chelsea whilst still an Arsenal player and his claim of nearly crashing the car upon being offered a risible £60k a week (alot back then) sum up the type of person he is.
