Cannot underestimate his value to the team, he gives opposition defenses something serious to think about , creates room for his team mates and has become a very important part of our attacking play.

Strong as nails at the back.

You'd play Silva right back?

Not Micah's best game today I didn't think but still good. Worried me when Gervinho got past him too easily.

I agree. I think he has been fantastic this season both offensively and defensively, however, I felt that today he had one of his poorest games defensively. I also don't think we made the greatest use of his attacking threat today. His first meaningful foray into the opposition box didn't come until well into the 2nd half

bit worried...he grabbed his hammy twice tonight. i wonder if he'll sit out vs. Stoke and rest up. he was massive for us and gave us alot going forward on the right.

Hope he is fit for Stoke as his heading ability will be handy against their long ball missiles. Noticed him hold his hammy after that hurried, slightly wild left footed swing but he kept going ok.

Defensivley was out of position too many times today, with kolo being pulled right to cover for him, but going forward he was outstanding today.

His positioning isnt good enough, he doesnt return to the defence a fraction as fast as he gets forward.

It's not possible to be in perfect position all the time when you are playing in an attacking team; random shit happens at both ends & you get attracted into areas to try & help. It's possible to be better organised & cover it but when you make two changes in the back 4 & then attack; mistakes can happen everywhere.

Vinny got MOTM & some of his positioning was absolutely fucking awful. Both he & Micah had very good games imo though.

Fullbacks on Wed. should be Zaba and Clichy. Let Micah recover more. And Zaba has been immense, left and right.
