F""'king hell, thew that was close.
Big victory and most important is that the lads showed that the Chelski game was only an accident.

On that performance Kolo will stay in the team ahead of Klingon...and rightly so as his overall play today was superb..saved us from losing on one particular occasion with a last minute lunge.

Zabba was close for MOTM for me.....superb.

What a rough ride ! But we survived it and got the 3 points. All the lads played well. Joe saved us on a couple of occasions and probably deserves MOm for me. Vince, Kolo and Zabba were great. A bit disappointed we did not bury the match with all the chances we created but in the end the important thing is, we won and back to the top. Merry Christmas everyone !

Good 3 points, we made it hard by missing so many chances. Top for Xmas....

Awesome performance. Really makes you start believing that we can win the league. Thought everyone put in a shift today and Nasri was fantastic.

I did not see all the 1st half as a school boy error meant I was at some poncey Christmas function but based on the 2nd half thought Phil Dowd had an excellent match and I think we have suffered with Refs over a few matches recently but he tried to keep 11 v 11 and had good humour with the players.

Well done Mancini, Halford, Sumberbee, Kidd, Book, Lake, Owen, Tueart, Morrison, the ball boys, the gound staff, the guy that makes the after match pizza as seen on the Tunnel Cam, Hart, Richards, Zabaletta, Kompany, Toure, Barry, YaYa, Silva, Nasri, Balotelli, Aguero, Dzeko, De Jong, Milner, and Dowd. Top Stuff!

Only caught the 2nd half due to work but i was very impressed with City today..Not so much in the way we played but the way we can handle pressure from the outside. For example. The rags on top and bouncing back from the Chelsea defeat..I see plenty of metal in our squad now..Well done.

I've opened up a Manchester city blog, revising the games and looking into the news etc,

The idea I have came up with is to get a fan to review the weekly games, and have it posted on the blog.

And who better to ask than you chatty lot ;)

Would anyone like to review the Arsenal game?

Zaba, Barry and Vinnie were outstanding today but Zaba gets MOTM for me as fe didn't put a foot wrong for 90 mins, snuffed out the threat of Walcott, and nearly scored. Kolo had a good game and the reason why I think Mancini picked him ahead of lescott is cos Arsenal were never going to offer an aerial threat and kolo is better on the deck and quicker

Phil Dowd was awful today and bottled some big decisions (Arteta should have had a 2nd yellow for the foul on Barry) as well as giving Arsenal a free kick every time one of their players went down

Couldn't agree more, I thought that was an excellent game from both teams. Fair enough, we should have won by a much wider margin, but it was a well deserved win all the same. Well done lads!
