stick a few more pots in the cabinet and let's make it ten.
If they avoid defeat against the Gunners, Roberto Mancini's team will have gone a full calendar year unbeaten on home turf. Some 27 games have been played since Everton won 2-1 at City last December - with City winning an incredible 25 of them. Only Fulham and Napoli have got themselves a draw.

I don't cry for him but I thought his sacking was wrong & he's helped build this team. Try making a back 4 out of Bob's signings for instance.

Try making one out of Leslie's! You'd have Bridge at left back and I don't care what the rest looks like, that's shit.
I despise Leslie, however, some of my favourite players were his signings (Kompany, de Jong and Zab). He therefore deserves some of the credit, however, I doubt he could have won anything with his team.
If we avoid defeat against Stoke we'll have been unbeaten at home throughout 2011. Having watched Pearce's side at the same ground not very long ago, that's incredible. Not sure why I still worry when going to a match as statistically I should expect nothing but a win but maybe I'll be calmer by the end of 2012.
Grazie Bob.

I hope we win the title this season because that then gives him a bit of leeway to carry on building a side for the Champion's Lg. He's never proved himself at that level & may need a few attempts to get it right. We've seen what a mess has been made of Chelsea by Abramovic getting an itchy trigger finger . Winning the league would give Bob the extra bit of strength in his position, to resist a challenge for his job from the 'special one' or any similar character.
I personally don't give a flying shit about the CL so long as we keep competing in the Prem (& win a few). It's of secondary importance to me but owners & players seem to get carried away with it. That's likely to be Bob's main danger in the coming years I think, but if we miss the title, the pressure suddenly gets ramped up.

. . . on the contrary - it proves the value of the ichy trigger finger - keep on firing until you get the right manager
