While I see your points on the nuisances of defining racist behavior across different cultures, I have to disagree because you in fact didn't make any point and have now taken up almost a whole page with self-important whinging.

don't doubt it mate - and fair point. as a yoghurt knitting leftie even i sometimes get frustrated with the constraints put upon the ability to discuss race issues.

He has two weeks to appeal the decision, so we're in that period at the moment.

Alright, so he will end up missing the Carling Cup game beside the league regardless.

Suarez has 14 days to appeal on the arrival of the independant FA panels evidence to Liverpool FC in writing. This evidence according to SSN is expected to take weeks not days to be written up and delivered so Suarez could still be playing in March. The good old FA nice to see it still uses carrier pigeon to deliver its mail.

I'm a silly fellow. How is it wrong to call Evra a black cunt for which there is a great deal of evidence but alright to call him a Munich cunt which is clearly designed to affront? The law should be used in matters it is designed to deal with which is not two dimwits insulting each other out of ear shot of everyone else.It all gets fucking ridiculous in my view.We are in danger of invading the primary school playground to arrest kids for calling each other names.

The law hasn't got involved in this case, the FA has.

Because someone from the public reported it to the police and not the FA, unlike in the Evra/Suarez case. (Although presumably Evra could have reported it to the police).

No but if they're forwarded to the police, and I suspect they might be, then a few people will be getting a visit. Not sure how easy/hard it is to hide yourself on twitter but I doubt anyone that stupid will have thought to even try.

Collymore's a complete tosser, however some of things said to him were seriously out of order.

I'm not one for big reactions etc but those "tweets" absolutely sickened me.

I think the police have got involved in other twitter related things so hopefully these guys will get sorted.

No matter what the punishment though.... its just sad that people actually think that way.
