I have never used the official trips myself as i like to do my own thing and stay over for two nights but a few of my mates go on them all the time as it saves a lot of hassle hunting round for cheap flights and hotels.

2 me lad will be 15 are many kids that age go
I think school holidays are on that week so quite possible a few younger blues will be out there.

3 is porto safe enough to take the lad
I have never been to Porto but i think it will be absolutely fine. I wont be on such a high alert as i was in places like Napoli, Poznan and Kiev so no need to worry there.

4 how many points do you reckon will be enough to get a ticket
This will depend on the allocation that we get, they have a fairly big stadium so we should get a fair few tickets but if it dont reach your points there will always be a few spares knocking about.

I went on a TC trip to Turin and was really impressed. I would chose that option any time again in the future. We were in Turin for 11am free to do whatever we wanted until the coach left at 5.30ish for the ground. I'm mentioning that so you get a feel for the freedom you get once in the town that isn't always publicised by TC. You and the lad can do what you want rather than sit in a local irish bar getting pissed, unless you want to do that of course.

I saw a few teenagers on our trip but no kids that were really young. It was safe though and I'd be happy to take my lad who is 9 Especially after the game where the issue of wandering around looking for transport to the airport is completely taken care of by TC. just stumble out of the ground, on the coach, airport bar in an hour!
lets wish for good days but not forget the bad days
