Apparently our very own Mario has paid for 24 homeless people to stay at the Hilton on new years eve? Anyone know if there's any truth in this?

Doubt it.
Can you see the management of a prestigious (pretentious?) 5 star hotel allowing a group of homeless street people to mingle freely with their patrons?....Nor can I see them being very keen on having them sullying their dining/bar areas, nor sleeping in their shiny bright, starch sheeted beds.
The Hilton would believe they have certain standards to uphold.

It seems there really are folk out there trying to think up things for Mario to do.

Apparently, Mario has been seen peeping over the fence at Carrington, stood on a discarded set of kitchen steps which have "Property of Higgi" written in magic marker down one leg.

Wondered where they had gone now I don't need them anymore:) Question is how do you know they are kitchen steps with that written on?

I think when the comment was made that he'd paid for 24 'tramps' to stay at the Hilton, it was referring to something quite different.
