10 pounds?

Enough to get down the supermarket and buy a venky's chicken.

Fair point, but you're discounting the fact that they've promised him a warchest of ten pounds for the January transfer window.

EDIT: Brilliant comment from Burnley fan 'spike t' underneath that opinion piece:

when Burnley got relegated the Rovers sang about having a party. That song has come back to haunt you. Fancy coming to a First Anniversary party? You can bring the chicken and we'll provide the atmosphere!

hahaha - lol'd at both the ten quid and the burnley comment. was it blackpool fans that flew the plane over preston one time?
"Whatever it is that we "bought" - we didn't put it up for sale..."

That was last season wasn't it? "Enjoy League One." And then they got relegated themselves a couple of weeks later. Wallies!

Always said he was the man.

On a side note, do any stattos know how many goals David de Gash has conceded through his legs this season? I wouldn't be suprised if Bacon picks that Swede with the box-top for the derby.

One result doesn't make up for the shit Blackburn fans have had to endure!
Perhaps a turning point though.

Yeahh, potential turning point. It's great to win at OT but they need to start beating the Boltons and Wigans at home which they haven't been doing.

They have some talented players. Yakubu's always a threat, Samba's quality. Pederson is decent and that Rochina looks a decent prospect.

Agree with Yakubu and Samba - they would both probably get into any team outside of the top six (unrucky, Everton). But Pederson is shite and has been for about three or four years.

I've always thought that N'Zonzi looks half-decent, but he seems to be injured pretty often.

I miss the 80's as well Steve.

I must've missed this first time around, but rest assured that I've just pissed myself now!
