Anyone who wasn't a megalomaniac would see that the end of last season, or failing that this season, is time to cut and run and retire with a great reputation in tact. He saw the very great Brian Clough carry on too long. But of course he thinks he is invincible. The players from his teams in the late nineties would have a heart attack if they had to play alongside some of these no-raters he has today.

The press call it being 'very driven'. I call it stupity, megalomania or, as Ted says, senility.

As has been the cause of massive arguments on here, they're shite, yet still joint top of the league (for a couple of hours). There's one reason for that - taggart. Put any other manager in charge of that lot and they'd be 6th at best.

He's been one of the all time greats and they are likely to struggle when he goes unless there is a massive cash injection on players. That's why I want us to finish above them whilst he's still in charge. Once he's gone it'll be commonplace, so these are the big ones. It's like finishing above Liverpool during Paisley/shankley instead of Souness and Hodgson.

I recon, if they'd signed Tevez when they were supposed to & not held off doing a deal, thus allowing us to start talking to KJ, he'd still be there now & starring, like he was at City.

For all his cleverness, Ferguson has dropped some huge bollocks over the years & imo he (because of his war with Magner & Co) is the man responsible for the Glazers being at OT; that's why he never criticises them.

Ultimately, he may be as responsible for their downfall as he is for their success.

They've never even attempted to replace Ronaldo really. They should of bought a real world class attacking talent however much it cost.

The Mafia , known as United is now broken, they still are able to influence things, , but to a lesser degree.

They pay money to finance houses in the US. This massive negative flow of money cannot be re-invested in the pool of players they need at this level of operating. Bigging up players like Young , isn't good enough.

Although i didn't see the full game yesterday, they seem to have players , playing in wrong positions or playing wrecklessly ( apparently Berbatov was a danger to his side evertime he started to defend in their box).

Fergie says they don't need to buy this month, when clearly they do. They cannot commit the resources to get them out of the mess they are in and it's only a matter of time before they lose their lofty position. Their football is unattractive. Their last three victories relect a surprisingly poor display from their opponents, rather than any great football on their behalf.

Fergie has stayed on too long, he blabbers and is making bad team selections.

Perhaps we can put him out of his misery next Sunday.

Interesting that they had a fair amount of loose cash after the Ronaldo sale, just sitting there for a few years, then just recently a large chunk of that loose cash was used to pay off some of the debt; about £70 mil worth I think.

Turned it of at HT.

The racing at Cheltenham is far more entertaining.

Makes it even more annoying that we couldn't beat that poor excuse of a team.

Boring bastards.
