Martin O'Neill
Don Revie

Playing wise - Nicky Summerbee won Div1 title whilst at Sunderland, Franny Lee won the title with Derby

Then theres the Ryan Wilson story, if he ever was that involved as a kid at City

On that basis I would say Uwe Rosler scored a hat-trick for Kaiserlausten in the CL

Ryan Giggs is the Ryan Wilson who Dunnylad referred to.

Does anyone remember the rumour that we (was it Reid or Horton?) had the opportunity to sign a young Luis Figo for a million quid? Oops! Ah well, all's well that ends well.

Thanks ADVT - obviously a well deserved Mancityfans.net legendary status for picking that one up - I saw Ryan Wilson play for England Schoolboys, although he was on the Rag's books by then, so not entirely sure how much time he spend with us.

The Figo story relates to Horton, but Sporting Lisbon (I think) wanted a couple of million and we didn't have it and he was a young lad so would have been a gamble. lol!

I suppose the tin hat must go to half of the City FA Cup winning side from 1904, who were banned from playing for us for life, went to the rags and won the League for them.

Paul Power won a Div 1 Championship medal at Everto in his career twilight which was his highest honour.

Stweart was a FLOP @ Spurs - they only put him in midfield because he couldn't score as a forward. Gained ONE Enlgalnd cap while there. Crap again at Scouse - ended up at Burnley . . . .

That was going to be my answer. Genuinely stupid sale.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
