It'd be so sweet to keep the current news in the open until Sunday morning then announce that they have been given permission to play.

Their 1st game isn't until the 22nd so they've still got the 14 days rule in place (if we stretch the rules a little), but if not, I'm confident that we have players who can step up to the plate.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

The language in that statement is unnecessarily rude to the point I wouldn't hold out much hope of a change of mind. Suggest they be turned away at the Abu Dhabi border, unless the owners are more tolerant of rudeness than I am...

It would be hilarious if the royal family refused entry to the Toure Bros until Monday.

Not due there until then anyway. Meeting in Paris Saturday. Cannot help feeling we are missing a trick here. Should have got them to have their meeting in Manchester including a session of training with the top team in the Premier League, free hotel and hospitalitity, seats for the rest of the squad to see the Toure brothers play in a huge game and a free flight courtesy of Etihad on the City branded plane followed by free hotel, facilities and hospitality in Abu Dhabi courtesy of the owners. Is it too late?

UAE on Monday?

I wouldnt bet against it LAHAD. Amazing what power you can yield when you have the wealth of our owner. I imagine Khaldoun is very much on this case, as City have gone very quiet on the issue for over 24 hours now.
