Fergie reckons Yaya will play

"I am not sure Toure won't be available for Sunday," said Ferguson. "He probably will.
Available

"I don't know the whole background but apparently, I read somewhere he doesn't need to meet up until Monday, which suggests he should be playing on Sunday."

Yaya himself has spoken of his disappointment at missing the game and even if he is missing, Ferguson is not convinced his absence will test City's hopes of silverware this season as much as Mancini suggests.

"All the teams who have African players have never really suffered much," he said.

"If you check the records, they all seem to sail through it.

Is this the only "proof"/"evidence" that currently exists to give us hope that Yaya (and Kolo) may in fact be
available for Sunday and the rest is just us hoping or is there more to show that it might be possible for Yaya
to stay until Sunday? Because based on what the Ivory Coast manager said
it seems like he is holding firm on calling the Toures on time and has the rules to fall back upon if Mancini
tries to keep them for Sunday.

Mate there is a link further up this page with an article stating that the Paris meet up has been cancelled and the players have to make their own way to Abu Dhabi on Monday.

Hasn't Mancini got a good relationship with their manager? This could have been a game all along - come out in the press saying they have to turn up before backing down last minute, affecting Taggart's preparations. The UAE training for a relatively poor FA has always looked suspicious.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Yaya scoring on Sunday

Has anybody heard that the Paris meet has been cancelled due to the Sheikh's insistence that they are to be wined and dined to the highest order ;-)

Has the club ever stated that the Toure brothers won't be available for tomorrow?

if they're not playing tomorrow the club shouldn't be telling the RAGs about it - why give them a clue?
