Also confident but nervous. But excited over the moon that if we beat them, we basically create a media shit storm, destroy their confidence, and guarantee that they don't win any trophies this year.

Let's fuckin smash 'em!!! Come on City!!!

So which is it, confident or nervous??

I'm confident as fooooooook.

I don't know. If we play to our best we'll win. But this is a derby and anything can happen.

Seems very odd, could even be seen as disrespectful of the opposition and I can't see Joe being happy with it.
Hope to god the bloke is wrong, the more I think about it the more absurd it seems.

I wasn't nervous until I read this thread - I think today means do much to them, more so than it does us, but another victory & we'd be into Un*t*d in crisis territory, a place they should have been last season - here's hoping we hammer them, shrek gets sent off along with Evra & Jones manages a Jamie Pollock :D

All the media are going on about how this is 'the biggest derby of all time' and how a city win could see 'the demise of united'. They talk such rubbish. I don't think the implications are that huge.

The more disrespectful the better as long as we win. In the video of the players arriving, you can also see Rekik, Suarez, and Razak. Will be interested to hear the lineup/squad. Until then I'm bricking it

#MCFC team to face #MUFC Pantilimon, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov, A. Johnson, de Jong, Milner, Silva, Nasri, Aguero
Subs: Hart, Clichy, Zabaleta, Savic, Hargreaves, Razak, Suarez

No one there to change the game if it goes to shit. Aguero injured and we're fucked.

And yep, MUFC confirm Ginger is on the bench.

#MUFC Lindegaard, Evra, Jones, Ferdinand, Smalling, Valencia, Carrick, Nani, Giggs, Welbeck, Rooney.
Scholes wearing 22 on the bench.

Good to see Nasri back and fit. It'll be a big day for De Jong and Milner, but confident they can beat the average scum midfield. Also hope Kolarov and Aj are up to the task. Would love to beat them with a 2nd string goalie!
