The Second String Team Today..

Postby Nick » Sun Jan 08, 2012 12:16 pm

Now I knew Mancini would rest players and i've been winding rags up all month saying Liverpool is a bigger game...

BUT..

WHAT THE FUCK CITY?!

You choose today to rest joe hart?! Are you mentally ill? Joe Hart has little to do to ever get tired. Kolorov over clichy?! and all kids on the bench while they have gone all out and got scholes. Im Pissed off too fuck! We could have hammered them today. How embarassing if it back fires and Liverpool do us anyway...

We beat them on their biggest day with a front two of Vassell and Benjani. Our front three today are Nasri-Silva-Aguero.

I agree with a lot of what you say, but let's keep the histrionics for a few hours from now. If anything, people like Pantylemon will be massively out to prove themselves.

Ill/Injured.

Guessing Dzeko is also Ill/Injured.

Good to see Nasri back though!

No Keeper on the bench?

I know we have bigger games, but aside from the fact that its a derby and we have the chance to really smash united, if they win, they could potentially go and take our trophy of us, so we cant even talk about winning the FA Cup if we go out.

Kolorov instead of Clichy NEVER works, and Adam Johnson is not the answer when we are up against it.

Sorry for the over reaction / negativity. And I hope these lads prove me wrong.

But resting Hart just fires up Taggart even more.

COME ON CITY!!!! First Home game im missing for years :(

Both Mario and Dzeko have slight injuries but I am sure not bad ones.Mancini is making the difficult but no doubt wise decision to leave them both out rather than take a chance and lose them for longer.
I am surprised at the Hart decision and maybe Kolarov playing as well but only time will tell now.If we get it right as a team we will be ok.

Well...

Hate to be right bu that MUNICH twat of a ref has made my blood boil.

Who gave the pen away? Oh kolorov. On top of the goal coming from his side. I genuinely hope he never ever plays for us again. The guy is utter shite.

I know mancini wasnt arsed about today; and I thought we;d lose but this has BIGGER implications. We;ve just gifted United the advantage in the league and now liverpool looks an up hill battle.

It's Doug's fault he said he nearly got on the end of a Kolarov cross in training so that might have swung it for him ;)

I think fighting back to only lose 3-2 after losing our captain to a ridiculous sending off and with an already depleted team, and having a stonewall penalty denied, is such a moral victory that we have gained the advantage in the league rather than conceded it! It showed they can only beat us through a huge mixture of luck and corrupt officialdom! Advantage CITY!!

And furthermore, if we play like that against Liverpool - with the same fight and spirit - we'll have no problems getting through to the final.
