If he was going to be a Premier League left back, surely he would be starting to look at least a little bit like one by now ? On the whole, he neither attacks nor defends well, just takes some admittedly briliant free kicks.

Can't get my head round Bobby's use of Clichy and Kolarov. Clichy is a far superior player and should be getting more game time.

I get the need to rest players for certain games but it's almost game about with these two which isn't necessary.

I thought/hoped last season that he might make a midfield player & suggested it, but when Bob had the same idea & tried him there he was crap. I just don't see how we can use him.

Agree with this. I'm surprised someone like Silva who has brilliant technique hasn't been able to master shooting from free kicks. He's taken a few but they've all been fairly poor.

I'd like to see what Yaya can do with freekicks - when he hits the ball it stays hit. Even if it struck the wall it would probably take a couple of players with it into the net.
