Always sets off alarm bells for me when he starts a game.he just is a disaster defensivly at this level.luxury player because of his dead ball ability but thats just not enough to justify his seletion.cracking free kick by the way

If only we could bring him on for free kicks and then take him off after he's taken them - a bit like the field goal kicker in American football

pains me to say it about a city player but you are right he's no midfielder either.

and he has been voted the best serbian footballer in 2011....

I am pretty sure we could sell him for around 15 big ones to someone in italy, or use him in a swap deal.

What we need are some players in the squad who can take free kicks like him, another left back & not him. If he was going to be a Premier League left back, surely he would be starting to look at least a little bit like one by now ? On the whole, he neither attacks nor defends well, just takes some admittedly briliant free kicks.

Vidić, well, you know all about him.

Krasić, playing for Juventus, major diver, samo pace and the worlds ugliest haircut.

theres this Milan Jovanović, played for dippers last season, headless fuckin chicken.

Ivanović from Chelsea is not that bad imo.

thats about it.

and yeah, that fuckin lamp post from birmingham.

Can't get my head round Bobby's use of Clichy and Kolarov. Clichy is a far superior player and should be getting more game time.

I get the need to rest players for certain games but it's almost game about with these two which isn't necessary.

I can see logic in just about everything Bobby does but I don't get this.

his defending is poor, he was lucky not to give away a second penalty yesterday, but some left foot on him, we could equally say he was unlucky not to score the second free kick

I thought/hoped last season that he might make a midfield player & suggested it, but when Bob had the same idea & tried him there he was crap. I just don't see how we can use him.

He is a tactical slow thinking player.

Ideally suited to Italian football, oh wait, thats where he came from.

Whoever thought he could make it in the Premier League needs to think again.

City have too much experience of Italian based players coming here and not being able to step up to the pace.

Agree with this. I'm surprised someone like Silva who has brilliant technique hasn't been able to master shooting from free kicks. He's taken a few but they've all been fairly poor.

I'd like to see what Yaya can do with freekicks - when he hits the ball it stays hit. Even if it struck the wall it would probably take a couple of players with it into the net.
