I love this lad, pure city blood and ipitomises everything we feel about dedication to our club. The whole team were excellent today but this lad along side Aguero stood out.

Gotta love the guy,.... enjoyed the "welcome back" that he gave Scholes,...leaving the carrot looking dizzy on the floor.

So proud of him. Never seen a player suffer from bad form for a full season but credit to him, he stuck at it, didn't take the easy option of leaving and is reaping the rewards now.

I remember when he had broke into the first team, getting rave reviews and a chairman from another club tapped him up. He thought about it. City we're shit at the time. We we're in my living room and me and my dad we're saying to him, just hold on, get through this season and see what happens. Thaskin and Sven came in, things got better. So glad he chose to stay. Could of all been so different. There was never any doubt about his love for City, but we we're so shit at the time under Pearce, I couldn't have blamed him for leaving.

And to cap it all, he's a Yorkshire lad (technically a Brum, but we claim him). Him and Jimmie representing.

Loved him since he broke in to the first team. Stuck with him when he was going through a bad patch and knew he'd show his quality in the end. He's grown up a hell of a lot in the last few years and I think that's a lot to do with the players he's been surrounded with. City Legend in the making.

Already a Legend for me.

A pint for MarkMakaveli for helping to keep him on the right path.

I think Mark may have found his calling in life! Role as advisor to the City players? Marwood sign him up!!

Still amazed that he doesn't get picked for England. Oh well, if he keeps putting in performances for us like he's been doing its more fool Capello!

I doubt we made his mind up for him, more just gave him a proper fan's point of view. E.g we are shit and we need you for just one more year, then do what you want. haha

I'm glad he doesnt get picked for England.

It may have helped him get his form back, stop thinking he was billy big bollocks.

No doubt at all the next England manager will pick him.

The opinion of someone you trust is an enormous benefit in any situation.

But if you feel that strongly, I'll drink your pint myself. ;-)

He could have put in a better challenge for Rooney's goal: its not the first time he's bottled out of challenging for defensive headers, or badly mistimed his leap, which resulted in goals

Beeks also like any obscure soul record from 1958. So.

Does Don Capello have a mancrush on Micah and he can't bear to have to see him in the dressing room bareass naked? No other legit answer as to why he wouldn't make his squad. I await Ashton's homophobic commentary.
