Know a couple of people who support Bolton and they want to send Boyata back to us as soon as possible.

And thats Bolton......

I agree but I think we'd need to double that.

There'll be no shortage of interested clubs and I reckon he'll go for around £10Mil.

I kinda dont see how we can win the appeal..i hope we do but i dont see it.
This is a huge loss for us especially with Kolo gone. Guess Savic is gonna get to prove to all of us whether or not he's good enough. Although Mancini could opt for Micah in the middle with Zaba on the right.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Barring the ref stepping in to the FA and saying he got it wrong, an appeal has zero chance of success.

FA will cite fact Kompany left his feet and went in two footed, and will use that as reason. The ban is a disaster for us, and though I dont think it was a red card offence, it was a needless and foolish challenge for Kompany to make. What really annoys is not only Rooney but the fact that you can guarantee on another day 50% of refs wouldnt even give a foul, we just got the prize plum who did and who listened to Rooney

I saw Morrison on TV recently it would have to be a back 2, the size of him you could not fit him and 2 others across the width of the pitch!!!!! Massive!!!!

Will you get a ban for the league when you´ve been sent off in the cup in the UK?

Here in germany you´re only banned in the competion where you were sent off for I think more than 10 yrs. now.

Yes he'll be banned from the cup semis too.

Although the sending off was ludicrous in the context of the game, I will be surprised if an appeal works. Because by the very letter of 2012 law, the twat can probably justify it.

Think you are banned for the Federation that owns/runs the competition. The FA run the cup, league and I guess the League Cup too. But not European competitions.

We need to seriously consider an appeal or bribe the ref to admit he was wrong.

If the ban stands, Kompany can have a holiday for 2 weeks.

Savic will have to come of age. Quickly.

I'm concerned about the psychological effect any ban could have on Vinnie.

If he thinks he will get a ban for making that sort of challenge in the future it's bound to detract from his game.

The appeal has zero chance of being successful. We need to plan accordingly.

It's a good job (for you) that you don't own a betting chain with odds like that.

Appeal formally lodged today and decision by tomorrow PM I would expect, with Wednesdays game in mind. These things are usually finalised within 24 hrs now - see Barton and Milijas of recent vintage. Unless Foy goes to bat for us and offers that he made a mistake, that red card wont be overturned.

I'd have thought it would have to have been held today inorder for a fast-track verdict before our midweek game - but I'm no expert. (Maybe tomorrow at the latest)

If Foy admits he made a mistake then he'll personally be punished by the FA. The ban will stand because of this.
